V10 XL Pedals Available for the V8/Glide 3, with 3D Printed Spacers

I put the V10 pedals on my son's V5F and they fit fine except that the dihedral angle is much more pronounced than with stock pedals. From looking at how the pedals are crafted, I don't see any way of modifying the pedals to reduce the angle. Conversely, I could modify the pedal columns instead, since they are solid, but that would probably adversely affect the stock pedals if we ever decided to back to them.

I installed V10 pedals on my V8. I used a spare washer and cut same size slices from a rubber floormat from my car. No need for 3D printed stuff, although I applaud eWheels for offering that.

Feels good, man. Totally recommended. I got the pedals for about 55 euros shipped.

Can you send a link because I only find them 55 euro's a piece :(

But are those original once? It seems like a copy from china no? Are they reliable?

No signs of being copy. I don’t understand why it would make sense to make copies for so small a market. These pedals look totally fine.

In the first post Jason is talking about V10 "XL" pedals. Are that the bigger XL pedals from AliExpress or just the original standard ones from the V10.

There’s only one type of V10/V10F pedals, aka XL pedals. These are the exact same that come with the wheel and there are no other kinds.

These are still one of the largest pedals on the market. On par with KS XL pedals and Nikola Pedals. Makes the V8 a lot better. Hopefully included on the upgraded V8 but made stronger.

Thanks for the information.

How is the grip with wet shoes, because of the rubber surface instead the griptape on the V8 padals?

Depends on the shoes. Soft rubber and grippy shoes are fine even when wet. But overall improvement on the V8. They are going to be updated soon and hopefully with grip tape. The rubber on them is really nice when dry, though.

Thanks for all the tips. The reason why I was asking if it was a copy is because of the discussions here about pedals breaking off. I wouldn't want to have a pedal break when I'm going max speed down hill. I think you can seriously break your ankle.

And much more.
