Tom
I'm not incredibly tall or anything at 6'2" but I was wondering if your height has much effect on how easy it is to balance/manoeuvre the unicycle?
Gimlet
I would say that weight has a much greater effect than height. But more on the ability of the wheel to keep you balanced in difficult situations. This is much more apparent in the low powered generic and cheap eucs than the better more powerful ones. Jason McNeil
Tall people have more 'sail effect', pushing through the air requires considerably more energy above 20kph.
Cloud
I would think that technically it should be harder for taller people to ride. if you are taller, other things being equal, its harder to keep your balance. Think of walking on stilts. Your center of mass is higher so its easier to fall over. The closer you are to the ground, the harder it is to knock you down. In my opinion, when the higher center of mass leans forward, it will harder for the wheel to compensate for the lean. However the difference should be very marginal compared to other factors, so i wouldnt worry about this at all. DiasDePlaya
Don't worry about. I'm 6'3" and I ride skate, in line rollers, motorcycles, windsurf, surf, kitesurf, bicycle and mountainbike without problems and better than many people shorter than me. Chrisxr2
Surely whilst there is more wind resistance being taller it is also easier for maneuvering as smaller inputs in learning etc are more magnified eg less effort required.
Gimlet
Annoyingly kids do tend to pick it up much more quickly than adults, so I assume it is partly down to their size.
