This is my wheelhouse.

I made this stand to protect and store my wheel in my work van.  It is made out of 3/4” plywood and covered with speaker box or gun safe cloth.  The back of the van has a large storage rack with  slide out shelves but the side door has a small open area that I can store the wheel in. I have it bolted to the front of the storage rack.

It kinda looks funny in the pictures because the front is slanted back 3” and your eyes try to make it square. It makes it look like the wheel is leaning forward when it is level.

I like it!  It's good looking and even appears seamless.  That's very strong plywood, too.  I like the inner "shelves" matching up to the pedal height, too.

I have some scrap plywood laying around.  You've definitely given me some ideas.  I always figured I'd use PVC pipe, which is quite light but very bulky when you're pressed for space, as I am.

The speaker box cloth is easy to work with and makes unfinished wood look good. it is a lot easier than sanding and finishing. It is great for not showing scratches and dents. The secret is 777 spray adhesive and a good razor knife.

The MS3 tire is about 3/8" off the bottom. My KS16 fits in it too but really needs a shorter narrower "shelf". I can add a shorter narrower shelf without getting in the way of what is already there and it should not bother the MS3.  It would look like two steps on each side.
