Larrydev
Hello guys, after learning to ride an euc I realized that my current wheel is really slow and weak so I’m looking to replace it with something slightly better but still my budget is a bit tight (500€ max). I’m considering the kingsong 14m which is priced on the Italian website at 479€ http://www.kingsong.it/it/ks-14d-1146.html I like the telescopic handle. any opinion about it? thanks

So i would not call it much of an update... If you in that Budget perhaps you should look for a used Wheel?!
meepmeepmayer
Used 14D is probably your best bet. Or maybe you're lucky with another good used offer (unfortunately these seem to be rare in Europe). Spending almost 500€ on a 174Wh wheel is not the best way to spend so much money, I wouldn't do it. LanghamP
I can understand having a shiny new <something>; instead, buy a KS14d, inside your budget along with a new shell and trolley top, buff out the pedals, and your new old wheel will look great. I did this with my VF5 which was badly beaten up, and it looked fantastic afterwards.
Larrydev
From what I can read on this forum you can add a second battery inside this ks14M and use the Ks14d firmware, saving quite some money (450+ 150 for the 2nd battery compared to 800 euros for a new 14d) while having basically the same performance (losing only the speakers ? I think). As you guys pointed out there is always second hand market. I found a guy willing to sell me a ks 16B 340wh that is about 1 year old for 500€ but I don’t feel like the 16 inch wheel is good for me. I’m only 65 kg and I’d prefer a light wheel to easily carry it around. Another option would be a used ks 14d 340wh for 600€ and the owner claims it is still almost new with less than 100km. Would love to know know your thoughts about these options.
