Slartibartfast
Took the charger for my Gotway MSuper to work today and I fear I may well have just let the smoke out :-O Living in Australia eWheels are not willing to ship here so I'll need to find another source. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have read however that 1.5A is a bit slow for a 1600Wh battery and I've certainly found it takes an awful long time to recharge when completely run down, so am considering getting an upgraded charger. I have read discussions where people have mentioned far more advanced charges that charge at different rates depending on conditions in the belief that doing so will prolong the battery life. I see the most expensive 84v charger offered by eWheels is a 5A model. Would it be worth sourcing something simular myself?

Also allows you to charge to only 80% which can really extend the effective lifespan of your batteries.

Yeah, a 5 Amp Charger on a 1600wh Wheel is Always worth it....and not much more expensive on 1radwerkstatt than the Standard one shown in the ali offer... And if you can live with 220Volt it is perfect….those chargers are in stock....
Slartibartfast
Cool, I take it one of these with a "J-type" plug is what I'm after: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/YZPOWER-84V-5A-Lithium-Battery-Charger-for-72V-20S-Lithium-Battery-Electric-Motorcycle-Ebikes-Tools/32847999146.html If you have any better suggestions please let me know. Slartibartfast
Hmm, after looking more closely at that listing although it's titled "84V 5A..." the specifications actually say "Input:AC 100-240V, 3A" and the photo of the label shows "2.0A". Man, AliExpress is annoying to work with, you just never know what to trust and what not to.

As US69 suggested maybe get in touch with https://www.1radwerkstatt.de, I think he should be able to help you pick the appropriate charger.
