Just joined this forum, but been following it for awhile. Read lots of info in regards to what euc I was gonna buy. I went with the msuperx. Been riding two days and it’s amazing. I’m totally in love with this thing. Took me 2 hours to get ahold of it but I did 70 miles today and it was great. Rides like a Cadillac. Got up to 27 mph and boy was that fast and I ride motorcycles. Been riding mini pros for months and needed this upgrade. Now my friends are trying to get eucs. I got them hooked. You guys have helped so much without helping I just sit and read all day. Can’t wait for tomorrow!! Anyone have charging times on rapid charger? And any specific brand I should get? That’s my only problem takes long to charge lol!  Thanks.

I use the EWheels fast charger. You can safely charge the MSX at 4-amps which is ~2-1/2 times faster than the stock Gotway charger. Some people use the 5-amp setting which is ~3-1/3 times faster!

Welcome to the hobby and congrats, you got yourself a wonderful wheel to explore the world around you. Definitely won’t need an upgrade for quite a while ? Good luck on all your paths. Ride safely.

Not exactly a bad first wheel:efee6b18f3:

Don't be overconfident now. Just when you can ride but don't know anything really (braking, evading sudden obstacles, just general experience) is a dangerous time. The idea is to be grounded by a first crash/fall without having injuries, so don't overdo it with the speed and wear all the protective gear. As you mention motorcycles, you have that at least anyways.

70 mile ride after 2 days without foot pain or so is impressive! :eff034a94a:

I drive the segways and I got all my foot pain with those. Didn’t get it with msx  wheel. But I did get the pain where pads are. But it’s managable. These things are a riot. So much fun. Selling all my segways and exchanging them for eucs. My son is all on my back for one. He’s a dare devil like me so I don’t wanna grab a slow wheel. Any suggestions.

I've always thought that having experience with 2-wheeled self balancers is almost a neccessity for EUCs, as learning the nuances of self balancers while also learning to steer with one wheel is usually too much for many people.

I would strongly recommend not selling all your segways because there is value in being able to "hang out" in a single spot, such as waiting in line at a fair.

How old is your son? Any shiny nice new wheel will do if you have the money:efee8319ab: Just be careful he doesn't go too fast before he has fallen a few times and understand how fast things can go south, and of course wears all the gear religiously.

  • 14 inchers: Kingsong 14D or 14S (bigger battery), and of course the lovely, ultra-powerful Gotway MCM5
  • 16 inchers: 16S - pretty fast and good price, ACM2 - the amazing tank with a good price, Tesla, V10(F), maybe the V8 for a younger kid
  • 18 inchers: KS18L, msuper X, Ninebot One Z (maybe a bit too big)

Have a look here for an idea of what the market offers (didn't you already check that choosing your msX?):

I can only agree with meep meep, especially about the safety aspect.. it's easy to go fast, but it is another ball game to be able to dodge for something unexpected, and for that you need the skills..  and like I am learning I do understand not to skip the basics, maybe before every longer ride try to implement technical stuff...

BTW I really like the V10f but maybe that's too big for your son, the KSmodels are also very nice to ride.. I owned a KS16s, very agile, sporty feel... you can't go wrong with what meep meep suggested..
