The current Z design is outstanding by itself so it might be prudent for NB corporate not recreate a whole new body concept the following year but just add some bling. The addition of your most sought after pedals along with my truncated mud guard would greatly enhance the style of the 2019 Z+ model quite well. I installed my non-truncated mudguard and trolley handle last night. Glad that I did because I went for a ride this morning that included puddles and mud. Like other elements of the Z10, it probably has the best mudguard of any wheel. I'm thinking about offering an award to the first person that can explain how the Z10 DLRL and headlight work. I'm starting to think it's a firmware bug. I know that the DLRL can be always on, always off, or always flashing. I've yet to figure out how to make it flash on demand. Sometimes it's flashing, other times not. And the main light can be on and off, and flashing. Same thing, i've seen it in the flashing mode, but have no idea how to put it in that mode. What's going on here?

I went to do some more tests and I am thinking I am finding some logic there, might be difficult to explain like this though. When I turn off the main light by long pressing and then power off the wheel, the next time I power on, the dlrl is off. The dlrl will only go on after I have long pressed the main light on and then do a power off and on again; but I have to separately activate the main light by long pressing again (or I guess if it is dark the light sensor will activate it). I have not seen the front light blink yet.

Somebody made an observation that the US vs Chinese have ver. 1.0.2 and 1.0.0 so yours might be newer and have different features.

I think mine is 1.0.2 I may put in a request to EWheels to see if they can get any clarification from Ninebot.

He also says that in this latter fw version the pedal calibration does not stay.

I see in your signature that you have both the Ninebot Z10 and the Ninebot one E+. Are the pedals exactly the same? Not exactly. The color is different. ? Other than that, I have to make you wait for an answer a bit, since my E+ is not with me right now. Get it back tomorrow. I am not sure myself if they are identical. I‘ll get back to you on this. That’s what I was afraid of. A victory of the penny pushers, budget watchdogs and everyday heads, that might have lost the Z its sure place in a museum of modern design next to the Macintosh Plus. What was your cleaning process afterwards? I envisioned that mud and other debris would be difficult to dislodge between the tight confines of the tire and guard. Suppose you could remove the guard each time.

Not worrying about dirt that hangs around under the mudguard. I would be careful about poring any liquid water over the Z10. If you turn on the ring lights at night you will see various gaps in the plastic housing that would allow water into the lower parts of the wheel. At least that's what I've seen on my wheel. Rehab1
@Toshio Uemura Hopefully your side panels are just dusty from the pedals. Just a suggestion to protect your Z’s side panels from pedal abrasion apply a thin strip of carbon auto molding like I used. It will keep the pedals from touching . Even though the pedal grips are rubber they will collect material from the soles of your shoes that will eventually blemish the side shells. I should have cleaned and polished my horses a little before taking photos. Just wanted to get you the info ASAP. The E+ still is a pleasure to look at design-wise. It’s just so simple and round, like one of the tires of Al Capone’s car.

Yes, that’s just dust, since I came back from an off-road ride. But thanks for the info. I will apply some diamond coat car wax. That should provide some extra protection. Besides the pedals, so far no major scratches, just dust and dirt.
