It's so easy to get caught up in our self-confidence and experience that we forget how startling our presence can be for others not used to the technology, so from time to time I like to try to put myself in their shoes.

Yes, great post. One of the big lessons to learn as you "get up to speed" on an EUC.

I had 2 car collisions in 1 day when I thought I had learned how to ride well enough. Now I stop or slow down at every intersection , driveway, corner, garage exit...anywhere there could be a collision or blind spot.

We have plenty of straightaways to save our high speed for, no need to drive crazy.
