You def beat me and def a few of us on this forum in terms of getting up and going! Now the next areas you should focus on are learning to mount on and off easily, getting comfortable braking, and finding a comfortable stance for your feet! I can brake pretty good and dismount perfectly. Getting going though still requires holding onto something. A couple of times I pushed off with one foot and kept it going but then my feet were not in a great position. I'm very happy!

Solarin
I found this video really helpful when learning how to get on, it is a slightly different technique and seems to work rather well:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7UpuGgZJrI

AlanR
Thanks Solarin, the 'getting started' video is helpful - will try it tomorrow.. Donaello, I am impressed with your progress. Today had my first day riding my new EUC; was very frustrated with occasionally doing 30 metres, then turn around and barely make 5!! I find leaning consistently very non instinctive. Ankles very sore with clearly poor starting technique despite holding onto a wall.

I still have it mastered getting on the wheel without holding something but that's my next thing. But as far as riding I think I got it down to pretty good

But as far as riding I think I got it down to pretty goodTry to ride on only one foot first, this way is easy to start. When you ride more than 5 meter put the second foot on the pedal. Donafello
I finally got mounting onto the unit down without holding onto anything. Now I feel like it's just a matter of fine tuning everything. I'm loving this msuper
dubgee2002
I've been riding for a short time also, but got the hang of it thanks to reading all of the posts and your help.I can ride OK, for a bit without problems, but after riding for 10-15 min or so my feet are killing me. Is that something you get used to? I have a TG-M3.

Is that something you get used to? I have a TG-M3. same here.however, make sure your feet are in the most comfortable position. Ive found that slight changes to the foot position affects the comfort and the foot pain tremendously. For example, i like to place my feet farther out to the sides, for me this is a more natural position and provides more control/ leverage of the wheel, and just about centered over the foot rest in the forward backward direction. I also place them so that the tips face slightly outward. Also very important to make sure the right and left foot are symmetrically placed. You may be used to placing them in a certain position that is not the best for you. Also, check the shoes you are wearing. Softer / thicker soles can help good luck.
