Did the firmware upgrade just brick my KS18L?

Hey all,

I just got my 18L, I rode it around the office a little bit then decide to upgrade the firmware.   At 9% the 18l shutoff (left 1 led light on) and never moved any further in the fireware progress % (I left it sitting there for a long time, which was annoying to keep my phone awake the whole time).

This is what it looks like:

I can't turn it on, pushing the power button does nothing.   Is this thing bricked?

Update: the app reconnected and restarted the upgrade... waiting, it got up past 10% now.

Yeah, Scary....but actually the app at least is able to reconnect/continue the update...on the older versions (greenapp) you would have a visit to the seller after a interruption....

Now the update process is mostly failsafe/able to continue.

I experienced something similar. I was upgrading from v1.06 to v1.07. I started the upgrade and got distracted and the screen went to sleep. When I turned the screen back on on my phone the percentage restarted. It would then go from 0 to 33% and then restart. Again and again. Tried resetting the wheel, closing and reopening the app to no avail.

The solution was to restart the phone and then it was able to finish loading the firmware.

Hope this helps somebody else.

As a side note, I would prefer to be able to load firmware over usb than Bluetooth as that is far more reliable.
