The Fat Unicyclist
Valid or not, I find their Facebook strategy (if that is what it is) to be appalling... There doesn't seem to be any passion, just a corporate sales drive - Which isn't how this EUC world operates. (IMHO)
The Wheel Plug
My inbox has been bombarded by them, and I had never shown interest in purchasing a new wheel publicly on Facebook. They may be legitimate but they need to work on that for sure. It makes the look spammy and fake. Their prices always seem a bit high as well.
Popular Post Keith
Like the others above me, this company has done nothing yet that would earn my trust. @Ewald Fauser, exactly what remarks did you consider it necessary to “clean up” on this forum. There are no mentions whatsoever about this company on this forum. Perhaps you would like to include a picture of yourself with your EUC in an obvious French location to prove your post is genuine? The reasons I state and ask the above is that all mentions of this company have been removed from this forum because of the appalling behaviour of this company’s employees who used a number of underhand and questionable tactics to advertise the company on this forum, including multiple log in and user names for example: @Sue Brown, @Sue_Brown, @Brown_Sue, @jason ken, @Jason_Ken, @unicycle distribution (which they appear to have hijacked), @Alleuc.com in every above case they also lied about the country they were in, if you check you will see all of these accounts have been shut down as spammers and they show multiple different countries as their location - They all appear to be in China. An even more serious issue (IMHO) is that his website http://www.alleuc.com/has no physical location and no contact details - just online help - there are lots of words about being able to return goods or get your money back - but absolutely no physical contact details at all or company details. the aftersales section includes (my use of bold in the following): “1: All products are tested by a professional team to avoid any problems with the goods. Once purchased, return of goods is not supported. “ Surely that ought to be a red flag to anyone considering buying from them. EDIT: I’ve just noticed that the left hand side of their website shows scrolling “latest orders” which gives the impression there is more than one per second. However they actually repeat very quickly and the first 6 digits of the order numbers are very clearly set as a date, presumably the order date? On that assumption, there are two orders 180417xxxxxxxx I.e. 17th April, still awaiting shipping and only 5 orders (presumably worldwide?) for the whole of May! None so far for June! Keith
Come on @Ewald Fauser, you were asked specific questions about why you found it necessary to, in your words, “to "clean-up" some remarks about alleuc in France”. There are no remarks about Alleuc.com on this forum, so what did you need to clean up exactly? Why, if you have had such good service from this company, have you failed to reply to the questions your post raised? I put it to you that you are actually Eddine Belouettar who works for this company in France and this thread is just a pathetic attempt to promote a company in an underhanded way. We would be happy to promote Alleuc.com, if we had any proof at all that real customers have had excellent service from them. As it stands, with your failure to explain yourself I think our Forum Members can draw their own conclusions?
ir_fuel
? That website is just an aliexpress facade. Check the prices. They are too low compared to all other sellers in Europe. There is no VAT applied (they sell the Rockwheel for the same price as the Rockwheel store on aliexpress). Also check this: http://www.alleuc.com/art/buyer-protection_a0013.html And compare it to https://sale.aliexpress.com/buyerprotection-en.htm?spm=a2g01.9316742.0.0.42beWVN6WVN6VC It's just a straight copy paste, with some words changed (and some forgotten, such as "Most sellers are happy to quickly resolve any issues.") Gotta love the site footer too: "Copyright © 2005-2015 MySite Ltd. All Rights Reserved." It gets even better: http://www.alleuc.com/info/what-does-my-order-status-mean_i0003.html There they mention DHGate and even link to a website explaining how DHGate works. https://www.dhgate.com/ And that's another aliexpress alternative. The entire text is written as if we are working on a marketplace, and not a webshop run by one company. And another one: http://www.alleuc.com/art/payment-methods_a0025.html Quote This website supports PayPal, Western Union payment, TT. Also support Aliexpress platform secured transactions, but charge 5% transaction fees (platform Collection) How exactly would that work?
