Forum threads not going to first unread post?

Other forums that I am a member of will go to the first unread post in the thread that I click on.  This one does not seem to be able to do that and it is a pain to find where I last left off.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a setting for this?  It seems I am spending a quarter of my time re-reading and trying to find where I left off when navigating all the posts on the forum.

Hah!  NEVERMIND!  I just found it.  It is that black dot to the left of the thread link.

What a relief!

Another option is to click on New Stream Unread content at the top right of the screen, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, click on the load more content button at the center bottom of the page, keep scrolling down and loading more content until you are at the last thing you read from the day before.  Then start working your way back from the oldest to the newest.  Still takes a lot of time if you read every unread post, but it's easy to skip past posts to get to the ones you are most interested in.
