Hunka Hunka Burning Love Posted November 18, 2016 Share Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) That looks sort of like my old Hubsan X4. I think I bought it from Banggood when I was into flying V911's. They also have a video version, but the shakey video quality was like jello and not really worth taking. I could fly the V911 everywhere inside, but the X4 was very twitchy to handle and sounds like a giant mosquito. I never did get used to it for some reason. I could do some basic flight patterns, but once I lost orientation of the front/back it was a crap shoot. I should dig it up and practice a bit more with it. The drone's decibel level is so low at a distance and the footprint so small that I lost complete sighting of it. I quickly rode back to the controller that was lying on the ground and to my relief I could still see it hovering on the screen! What a relief! I simply pushed the return home button and 30 seconds later it landed at my feet! So awesome!! I am still experimenting with side and front view tracking. The problem is the lack of side and rear collision avoidance which could be fatal. Another neat feature offered on a different app allows you program the drone to fly at a specific altitude and radius. So if you program it to fly at a 100 feet with a 65 foot radius it will keep the camera focused directly on the selected POI as it flies in circles. So many possibilities! Please be careful i havent posted the video yet but I was using my inspire 1 to track me as I ride in new jersey.....long story short... the drone decided to take off and kept going until i lost visual on the controller... i quickly picked up the controller jumped and sped off on the ACM in the direction it was going.... I couldn't find it... after 10 minutes of panicking I saw my drone flying at a high altitude all the way back to its take off point. I will never put the controller down while follow me mode is engaged ever again! When I looked at the footage it was hovering over the New Jersey turnpike rotating in 360's....... He came from NineBot One E+ and P. She'll LOVE that wheel. I've ridden it, and it's super easy to handle and even move around by hand when needed. Lots of nice features included.
