ASIL compliant control boards would include diagnostic self checks and redundancy. They would also be designed with comprehensive assessments and testing of potential failure modes. I apologize for the bad stitching issues. I made the mistake of starting off the tour at a waterfall and failed to clean the lenses properly afterwards. Much so in fact that I intended to follow a specific route (Yosemite Valley Loop Trail) when I got there and ended up just exploring different trails in the valley. I did casually pass by some Park Rangers but the park was rather empty for the time of year and that may have made some of the Park Rangers look the other way. I came across a girl in one of the parking lots who asked me if I had been stopped by any Rangers, she owned a one wheel and was thinking of doing some trails. I rode for a good three hours with several rest stops and even cruised into the Village Store area and no one said a thing. I may just have been lucky that day.
