Did some searching and it seems that with Mavic Pro 2 and its active tracking v. 2 things have improved a lot, but it is still not perfect. Also the pro 2 has obstacle avoidance sensors to all directions, so crashing is less likely in scenarios like tracking in forrest trails with branches on the way. The mobile app stitching is not as good as the desktop, but Fusion is generally regarded as the best prosumer 360 camera on the market. Maybe that messes with the stitching process (unless both lenses have the identical water drops ).
