So does that mean other sticks do not create this illusion of invisibility? I thought it had to do with the camera and it’s blind spot and not with the stick. I was going to use this one: Manfrotto 2 in 1 Monopod & Pole: http://amzn.to/2vPJBWu (did i mention it can be used as a monopod as well???) As long as the attachment point on the end of stick is low profile (ie: circumference is no larger than the camera with no protruding knobs) you should be fine. In post you can always edit out unwanted imagery but it increases the work load.

But why is everybody so dead serious? Isn’t anybody using music ? while riding? It is so much fun!? Nice! Yes, I'm always grooving to tunes. I use a Bluetooth speaker pointed to my head and attached to the inside of my backpack so the bass vibrates into my back. ? That's long ass drive from Florida. With all this riding on the wheels. I'm thinking on taking up skiing again. Gave it up long time ago but now I'm getting the itch and think I can pull it off. I will definitely get a season pass when I retire from my day job. Ski resort is only 20 minutes from my home. Snow basin resort where we had downhill venue in 2002 Olympics. Where I broken my leg in three places as a kid LOL... Edited August 21, 2018 by Mark Lee

The view was so good that the video did not need uplifting music. Good work and greetings from Finland. 3

Popular Post maltocs
I took the new Insta 360 Action camera out. Nice to take mostly mindless raw footage first and worry about where to point the camera later. Only wish the resolution was better and the warbling noise the stabilization produces was less. I was able to play with the iOS app using ViewFinder Mode, Tiny Planet, and BulletTime and also the Insta 360 Studio Mac app using the cinematic Pivot Point modes. Lots to learn. @Stan Onymous is riding his V10F and me the MCM5 going from the 2 Freeway to the peak of Mt Lukens, the highest point in Los Angeles proper. It is a 7 mile / 2500 ft elevation climb. The MCM5 with my 205lb rider weight tilted back twice due to I think heat at about 77C per Wheellog. We found a round concrete disc on top of the mountain and had fun riding around it. You guys are killing it in these furnace temperatures. I don't know how you do it. Gotway wheels overheat (tilt-back) at 79-degrees. KingSong and Ninebot at 80-degrees. FYI. Love that whole ending sequence, with the Earth effect and then what looks like you are giving the conquering solute Edited August 21, 2018 by Marty Backe 3

I think it was 85F to start, BUT we start (2270ft above sea level) a lot higher than the Mt Wilson Start (1224 ft above sea level). It got much cooler halfway into the ride when we rose above the marine layer. I was gonna message you to see if you want to go, but it was a school day and if you weren't going to take time off for the Z10, I knew you weren't going midweek for this. @Stan Onymous on the other hand is a rock star and keeps rock star hours, he's always good to go mid day mid week last minute.

meepmeepmayer
@Alien Rides What a fantastic tour! Super smooth wide open road, offroad parts, a group of riders with different wheels... How long was it (in miles/km)? Looks like you also went to the circle on regular roads?

But now I am thinking air gun turret pad from WW2. You can see in every direction from up there. I just googled it and the answer is... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Lukens.
