  1. I recently found out that I could not fully charge my V8 using the original factory default 84V 1.5A charger. The charger light always turns green while the battery indicator on V8 is still blinking. Tried few different experiments using Charge Doctor Voltage output with 3 different chargers: Charger A - my oldest charger, about 15 - 16 months usage, indicates 79.8V - 79.9V. Charger B - about 6 months usage, indicates 80.5V - 80.6V. Charger C - about 3 months usage, indicates 81V. I have never really noticed the Voltage while they were brand new though. Are they supposed to be exact 84V showing on Charge Doctor? Could anyone with V8 and Charge Doctor confirm please? What is wrong with these? Which components are failing/aging and need to be replaced? Is it normal for chargers to have output voltage drops overtime like this? I believe I have always taken good care of them.
  2. UPDATED Today, ! Hello it's now 4 month olds bought the 11 / 02 / 2020, I'll love it, it's better than my car ;3 Faster !, but not safer, i prefer to crash my car to annother car ;3 I was ridding and about 3 weeks ago, perfect weather, between 70% to 80% charge, i start my ride as usual. and on the middle range i notice the battery was low 4 green lights over 9 (I always end my work trip (25 km) with getting full battery and 25km more to get to the low level 3orange dots) i never saw my wheel with more than 2 greens leds off for my work-trip... and i decide to charge at work, witch was pretty fast only took 1h for full charge... strange strange... I do notice one side 'Outside right' of my wheel was a little more warm than the other, like 28°C ? and the other was at 20°c, not soo big difference, as hot as the motor run, "normal" [FULLCharging + stay plugged 4 hours ?] Then trip back home: 25km (total climbing 200m) and when riding, the wheel kick me off for low battery warning... (i could get home by pushing it during climbing) as an engineer I'm getting to open the wheel: wheel opened, 1 Overcharged dead pack 4.23v ?), and one "good"? pack with 50% battery remaining shown 3.82v... (it was full charged 2day before opening) I don't have that big time like kids to speak on, the vendor allow me to inspect my wheel... lets see what inside on next post ! as the battery pack is still under waranty, i can't unpack it to see what's wrong inside... but for sure there is at least something dead inside ...
  3. I was out riding with some friends, recording with the GoPro, etc as usual. Some holes are less visible than others and I wasn't paying much attention. Usually I will scan before turning away. This time I did not.. and I adjusted my feet and posture as well which I usually do rather stiff legged. And also.. I was riding squishy FW 1.05. I went down into a little hole... and out again.. the wheel slowed down going out... my body continued forward... I started to fall off the front, the wheel tried to speed up but I fell off the front anyway. Took a few steps, rolled my left ankle on the fourth step. Fell down on my right forearm and knee, then my right hip made contact and my body did a corkscrew so that I ended up on my right side towards my back. So.. some scrapes... but man.. the wheel fell badly. I would have rather taken more hits just spare the wheel man!!! Spare the wheel! Take me instead! Here is what the wheel sounds like now. There is a big difference in noise between FW 1.05 and FW 2.02. The pedal hanger is a bit bent but it is good enough. I will suit up tomorrow or the day after and ride it. After 8400km I can't really be bothered to throw money at this wheel.. even though I do love it. Here is a clip I made... the first 45 seconds contains the important parts. I didn't have any pictures of myself in shock that I could use as a thumbnail so I hope a shot of the internals will suffice.
  4. I was riding my Mten3 today, about 90% charged, went about a mile, it slowed down, shuddered, and started non stop beeping - beep beep, in sets of 2. Also, nothing is working on it right now, except the power button. Any ideas on what the beeps mean and what the problem could be? Would unplugging the battery possibly help?
  5. I just bought an Inmotion V8 with a fast charger from Jason, and have been having HUGE issues getting it to charge. I have tried replacing the fuse on the box. When I plug it in, the box has one red and one green light on before and after I plug it in. The wheel acts like it receives the plug and starts doing it's little blue charging light. Several hours later, there is not any more charge than it started with (under 25%). HELP!
