  1. Howdy everybody, I just bought a brand new One S2, which looks terrific. The only thing that prevents me from starting is a weird noise (imho) that the wheel does. It's only when the motor is started, and at low speed. If I perform the same movement with the motor stopped, there are absolutely no noises (so no things stucked inside). I have contacted Ninebot who told me that it is completely normal for an S2. Nevertheless, I would be happy to hear your thoughts. Even if it's normal, what is causing that awful noise ?
  2. POLL: If you could have just one EUC, what would you choose?
  3. For anyone interested in the product line brochure Segway Ninebot had available at CES 2018..... Some interesting tidbits: by the language, seems Segway is marketing the Z as an "enthusiast" model, ie. not the bread-and-butter money-maker many on the forums seem to want this model to be. the Ninebot One 16" series is notably absent from the product line, so I'm guessing that has been officially end-of-life'd. not surprisingly, as evidenced by the ordering of their product line, Segway is focusing more on their new cheapo e-kickboard scooters and 2-wheeled Mini series Segway Ninebot CES 2018 Product Brochure (PDF)
  4. Tried to glean any sort of new, unreported information from the Segway/Ninebot reps at CES about the One Z, but they obviously knew nothing about EUC's and were reading off scripts. The demo Z unit on display was completely functional, but no one was allowed to lift, let alone ride it. (I got some runaround story about it being the only demo there, and that a shipment of 5 demo units never made it to CES *smh) Build quality up close looked pretty legit, but one can never tell until the unit is truly battle tested, as evidenced by the Gotway Tesla. The pedals up close looked plenty big (might have to go back with my ruler to measure). According to the reps, the NB1Z will include the fender mudguard and trolley handle (based on their EUC proficiency, take that FWIW). According to the reps, the charging port is the same standard as their newest miniPLUS, located under that top-front blue cap. US Release was quoted as being in 2 months. This was echoed by multiple reps. (edit: see below post for more release date mess) ... some afterthought video, although there were too many people congregating as if the Z were an office cooler to talk around *smh
  5. First time user here, just purchased Ninebot One S2, after having miniPro for a couple of months I decided to try something more challenging, and kids took over miniPro anyway. Now while doing some exercises I noticed very low tyre pressure. But I'm unable to reach tyre valve to top it up to 40-45PSI as recommend. The valve is not in parallel with a tyre (like on some youtube videos) and it makes it absolutely impossible to connect the extender. You can see it on the photo attached. Lack of Segway support is really frustrating, for the price we pay, there should be at least a phone number to call, or a chat or something, submitting the form not helping, no response at all. And I'm surprised there is very little info online about Ninebot S1/S2, is it not widely used?
  6. (SOLD) Hey guys! I'm selling my lovely Ninebot One S2 in its original packaging. It's about a month old. There's a few scrapings but nothing major. Upgraded firmware. Price: $600 plus shipping from Europe (Sweden), with a European charging cable. It's easy to replace the cable if you need to: the part you need to change is a standard laptop/computer power cable.

  11. Hi guys, After reading a lot of the latest news and updated info including your great posts about Ninebot One Products, it makes me wondering which Series of Ninebot One is really considered to be Best Choice for buying at the moment. Which one would you guys choose between Ninebot One P / Ninebot One S2 / Ninebot One E+ if you happen to needing to buy one for now? Considering all three of them are available in the market and all brand new in the box with official 1 year guarantee from Ninebot. Thank you for your time and reply. Best regards, Richard

  13. I think better to combine all the other discussion about comparisons wheels of Ninebot. Yes, I know that everyone is interested in the answer to this question. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss here in a constructive dialogue. Everyone knows that Ninebot (Segway), is the most popular brand among electric vehicles. The flagship among the entire wheel line is Ninebot One P. Therefore I propose to compare the rest of the wheels with this wheel. Technical characteristics: Max speed 30km. \ H. Max distance: 30km. Wheel diameter 16 inches Battery: Li-ion 340 Wh max output power: 30A * (4.2v per cell * 15.) = 1890W. waterproof: ipv67 (optional) Metal carcass. Weight: 13kg. Optionally, it is possible to install batteries to 5. Capacity: 340Wh * 5 = 1700 Wh. Or 3 * 340Wh = 1020 (For lower weight) Type of battery cells: LG HG2 18650 Optional: There is improved (improvement of the strength) telescopic handle, version 2. T shaped. There is an improved (improved stability) parking, version 2. In plastic.
  14. Hi, new to this forum. Back in November 2015 I preordered a Ninebot One P with speedyfeet (UK ninebot supplier). As many of you will know, there have been many delays on the ninebot one P, and I was wondering if anyone else is in a similar position waiting for the ninebot one p to come back to market and when we think it will happen. Be nice to talk to a few people about the p and when we can get ours hands on it.
  15. While enjoying my new S2 purchase, I noticed that the wheel has a double beep for sudden overlean / sudden current over-surges, which is great! The thing is, for any E+ owners out there, I can't remember for the life of me if the E+ had such a warning. My recollection is that it didn't. Would appreciate any confirmation from E+ owners, thanks!
  16. Selling a Set of Training Wheels for the Ninebot One E+ Brand New!! Will fit other One Models Including P, E, & C $65 Shipped to the Lower 48 PM me with any questions Thanks
  17. In other post I've read that 1.2.2 had no issues with random cut off's and at the time my software was at 1.2.6 and I was experiencing random cut off's for no reason with plenty of battery life to spare going slow and going fast the unit would randomly turn off and send me flying forward. I am currently running the 1.3.0 software and have again experienced random cut off at around 40% battery life and at varying speeds. What do you guys think? Is it my specific unit or is it a problem that's bigger like the software or at the manufacturing?
  18. I myself was too late for the first batch. Second batches are scheduled to ship in November. Good luck for those who have already ordered.
  19. *** THIS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD *** I'm selling my almost-new Ninebot One E+ Unfortunately I just didn't get on with it and couldn't master it, so it's up for sale. (Reluctant sale, as it's a superb piece of kit!) It's only a couple of months old, very low mileage, perfect except for a few small grazes on the body, pedals and shin-pad but only minor. It was £600 new, but I will let it go for £400 to the lucky buyer, given the minor grazes. I'm in Cardiff, UK. Buyer will need to collect. PM me if you're interested.
  20. not sure when it exactly started ... i updated to 1.2.2 and was training to balance on the stand with front/back movements ... now since a few days my 9b1 E sounds like this -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flQxg27Egyw the noise comes only when changing directions with medium/high acceleration, not during slow direction changes or while riding ... atm ... i have about 80km on the wheel with one medium speed crash, other than that just a few low speed fall-overs in the beginning. changing riding mode from 0 (my prefered setting) to 9 did not help, neither did resetting the sensors. anybody had similar problems ? not sure if its a loose hall sensor/magnet inside the motor or just some other issue. thx
