  1. SUNDAY RIDE ~ HOLLYWOOD HILLS... Updated! 10 am SUNDAY RIDE ~ HOLLYWOOD HILLS... Meet location: 8458-8430 Willoughby Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90069 Open parking on streets that run East/West. The others are permit only. Brian and his wife have graciously offered their garage for drinks after. It's a huge gesture considering the current state of affairs. Let's practice radical social distancing, especially while we're there. Brian put a 12 pack of Space Dust on ice and there's a Domino's around the corner. And the ride... It's great. Lots of hills, turns, views, downhills, points of interest, landmarks, and such. It's gonna be a good one! Social Distancing will be observed. 2. Hi everyone, I'm about to start a new job and need to switch over to a longer range wheel so I'm selling my Z10. I'm in Culver City, California and would most likely look for a local buyer. $1000 picked up, otherwise we'll have to negotiate for shipping. Here's a list of what's in the box (not everything pictured): Z10 with 565 miles and zero issues Has scratches from the bumps and falls, no cracks or anything, original handle is still smooth and operational Z-Team pedals installed, original pedal plates and new sandpaper included for easy swap back Original Z10 box with charger, tools, booklets, etc. Wheel stand from EUC Army Leave a comment here or PM me for additional info / photos / whatever you need

  5. Hello fellow unicyclists! I wanted to announce a unique and fun event happening in Los Angeles, Saturday, October 6 ReCharge – The first e-wheel group ride! This will be the first of its kind e-wheel event, where owners of electric rides such as electric scooters, electric bikes, electric skateboards....aaaaand electric unicycles can get together for a fun group ride! Here are the details: http://haveago.city/recharge/ We're also running a fun contest to see which group of electric riders will have the biggest showing! Can unicyclists beat e-bikers or OneWheelers?? Sign up here to represent! https://goo.gl/forms/JnUX77iiZarGyonu1 After the group ride, folks can enjoy a fun street festival, the Culver City Art Walk And Roll, full of food, drinks, music, and more! It is a large/popular annual festival and this year they're doing a full street closure in anticipation of over 5000 attendees! Hope to see you there! Terenig
  6. Everything on my S1 WAS TIP TOP until one day I went to turn it on and a second after the green light came on it shut off and I havent got it going since. I had only had it three months and thought the warranty would cover it but I wasn't going to pay to have it shipped out to them over buying a GOTWAY and forgetting about the problem. Until now... I'm moving to Miami on the 1st, flying out, getting rid of everything. Busted ninebot has to go. You could part it out and come up ahead with the charger and batteries alone. I also have my GOTWAY mcm4 which runs like a dream that I have to do something with because it can't fly out with me so any reasonable off I will consider. Make me an offer. 347-707-6688 Mike

  9. Hi fellow EUC riders! I wanted to post about an exciting internship opportunity for any young person you or someone you know might be interested in. I'm the founder of Have A Go (http://haveago.city), a startup working to disrupt the current unsustainable, inefficient, and expensive car-centric transportation system with lightweight electric vehicles like e-bikes, e-scooters, e-boards, and other kinds of e-wheels. In a few months, we'll be piloting several E-Wheel/Mobility Pop-Up events around Los Angeles to educate and excite people about this new class of super-green mobility, giving people the chance to try out various models of e-wheels. So we're looking for smart, talented, and entrepreneurial-minded candidates who would be excited to lead such an initiative! We already have 5 brand interested in participating so the initiative already has some steam. Feel free to pass this along to anyone you might know! Here's the full job description: https://www.indeed.com/job/lets-build-better-future-mobility-pop-lead-internship-fdf03b146f6aaa5a Many thanks! Terenig
  10. I'm going to this to show the mayor what future mobility looks like! Wanted to post here for any EUC Angelinos who wants to do that same What: Ride with the Mayor When: January 20 Saturday at 9 AM - 12 PM Where: Colorado Center Park, Corner 26th and Broadway, Santa Monica, California 90404 Details: https://www.facebook.com/events/416396205447944/
  11. Hi unicyling Angelinos! I wanted to gauge interest in an electric unicycle meet-up to do a little stunt. In LA we have a huge traffic problem. Worse yet, LA is set to grow a staggering 38% over the coming years (https://la.curbed.com/2014/9/25/10042926/los-angeles-will-probably-be-the-densest-us-city-in-2025). With so many additional people, how bad will our traffic get?? So I wanted to try a little stunt to really get a conversation going about transportation in Los Angeles. If you live in LA, you probably know about the notorious 405. The alternative to the 405 is usually Beverly Glen or Coldwater Canyon. These streets are usually jam packed during rush hour, with cars crawling at a snail's pace trying to get over the hill. So what I was thinking of doing was getting a few folks to zip by the car traffic on our unicycles to make a statement about car traffic in LA! Perhaps we can wear t-shirts that have fun quotes like "Hey, that's cheating!" We could record this stunt and post it on social media and to start a conversation about alternative modes of transportation in Los Angeles. I actually tried a dry run of the Beverly Glen route on a Sunday morning and even with my not-so-capable Segway One S1 was able to easily make it up the hill and down no problem. What do you guys think?? A Bit of Background Behind This Idea I'm the founder of Have A Go, a site that reviews electric bikes, e-scooters, and many other e-wheels like electric unicylces and helps people find the right electric ride for their needs and lifestyle. We just launched our beta a few weeks ago and are looking to continue adding product reviews in the coming weeks. I started Have A Go because I believe in the power of electric wheels to transform the way we move around in our cities. Over the weekend, Have A Go participated in a large mobility event in Downtown LA called LACoMotion (lacomotion.com). There we met someone who had just moved Singapore. He talked about how he and his friends were able to regularly ride their unicycles everywhere in the city since their non-car mobility infrastructure was so well developed. He showed me a little video and I was blow away at the wide pedestrian/bike friendly paths that he said criss-crossed the city. So I wanted to bring a bit of this magic to Los Angeles and make drivers feel a bit ridiculous sitting in their giant cars as a group of us easily zip past them!
  13. It's been 15 days since I attempted to step on my first EUC - the Gotway ACM 16. I've become decent enough that I decided to film an 18+ mile trip around the Los Angeles San Gabriel river trail and adjacent parks. It's a long video, but you can obviously skip around or not watch it at all. There's some decent trail footage around 50 minutes in, as an example.
