Hi guys, I wish to disassemble my wheel because I have two loose screws on the shell. I also want to seal the wheel arch to make it really waterproof. I've made holes in the pads so I can remove sides easily. My firts question is how can I remove the top plate ? It seems that it can not slide because of the radiator and the bell mounted on it. Any advices ? I will upload more photos as I progress. Thanks.
I tried my new King Song KS-18s 1640Wh and decided to make a video of its cruising speed. I'm 6.2 feet tall and 210 pounds. So far, it's very stable, reliable, fun etc. Link for the video is below:
I'm probably going to eventually buy both of these wheels, unless something better comes along in the mean time, but my next wheel will otherwise be one of these two. What I'm thinking right now is the KS-18S, but I'd like your opinions on how they compare, which one you would recommend for me to get first and to understand why you make that specific recommendation. Thank you all in advance for taking the time to share your advice with me.
Hi, Since last weekend I heard a rattling noise inside my new KS-18S. 15 minutes ago I took my wheel from the charger to check if it was just a stone that went inside somewhere and if I could easily remove it again. While checking this, I just noticed my charge port only has 2 pins anymore!! I have no idea if the pin is pushed inside the wheel and now causing the rattling noise. The wheel was charging when I took it of the charger. Here you see a short movie I took. Why has the charger three pins? Do I need the bottom pin? I am also scared that if the part that is loose is metal (this would be the case if it is the charging pin) and it can move around inside my wheel, it will touch the board and cause a short circuit. Can I just open my wheel with the screws that are visible? Or do I need to pull back the leg supports for hidden screws? Any instruction video? I just checked and the wheel is still charging.
