  1. Originally purchased from the esteemed Jason McNeil at eWheels. Includes added Handlebar. Light in weight, nimble, and at 15.5mph it is faster than Bird, Lime-S and Spin scooters. The 500 W motor allows you to carry a maximum payload of 120 Kg (265 pounds), with manufacturer stated maximum range of 31mi. Will be packaged in original box. Located in Washington, D.C.
  2. I just ordered new Inmotion V5F+ from Jason. Will be delivered in few weeks. The handle is the selling point here. Of course end of the year discount is also a factor. I also like the range and less weight, compared to Ninebot One E+. I guess my low mileage Ninebot will be on sale soon.
  3. I was thinking that I wanted to write down my progress in EUC riding, sort of like a diary, so why not share it with you guys? This topic will focus on my thoughts and impressions as I learn to ride, but I will also write a little bit about the EUC itself (Inmotion V5F+) since I know that some of you are interested in hearing what a n00b thinks of it, compared to someone with a little more experience. My next post will be about my first day riding the vehicle (ok, toy).
  4. I went back to the automotive proving grounds today and spent 2 1/2 hours setting up drones and cameras while riding up and down their 20% grade hill. I took along the whole family of wheels that included the Gotway ACM 1600, KingSong 16S, Inmotion V8, Inmotion V5F+ and my little 10" Gotway Luffy. I have never went down the 20 % grade, only up it a few weeks back, so I was a bit nervous at first but after practicing dozens of times on the ACM 1600 earlier in the day it became natural. I was able to transverse both the 20 % and 30% grades with the ACM that allowed me to gather temperature data that I will share later. The ACM 1600 did outperform the other wheels ( including Luffy ) but that was to be expected given the excellent torque and power the ACM possesses. I apologize for the background noise during the first few minutes as they were cutting grass on the complex.
  5. @Jason McNeil Many thanks for your thoughtful recommendation and allowing me upgrade the grand prize! Thanks to Jason the 1st place winner of The First Annual International EUC Talent Contest will now have an opportunity to select between either the V5F+ or new V8 model! Awesome idea Jason!
  6. Let me begin by saying I love both my NB 1E+ and the Inmotion V5F+. Each one has it's own characteristics in regards to agility, smoothness, speed and distance. The pedal height of the NB1 has always been an issue for me especially after riding the V5F+. When I attempted to turn in sharp circles the NB1 pedals would always hit the ground. Not so with the V5F+. So I began investigating on how difficult it would be to change the NB1 pedal heights and angulations to mimic the V5F+ configuration. As I found out , it is not difficult at all. Below are some photos of the modification. The NB1 is now able to perform shape turns like the V5F+ without hitting the pedals on the ground and my stability is enhanced.
