    I'm hiking the whole Appalachian Trail this year and was wondering if there are any riders that live in or around the towns that the trail goes by. I think it would be cool to meet other riders along the way.     I've been riding my v8 nonstop for the past few months, awaiting the v11... I happen to be in NYC for work and have a few days free, and I figured seeing about renting a wheel from someone might make for an amazing day to explore the city (or at least the bike friendly parts). Any suggestions on places I could go, or people I could talk to to rent one? It might also be good practice for a bit more powerful of a wheel before the v11 arrives.. any suggestions on fun places to ride in the city are more than welcome
