  1. Hello, first of all, thank you for the forum. Recently my ninebot segway es1 stopped working, it is necessary to change the "motherboard". The one inside the tube. I can not send it to repair the official service. I have looked at this piece online, I have found it relatively cheap. But I read that if I change the motherboard myself, I will get error 35 and I will not be able to activate it. Somebody could help me ? Thank https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/YHVNzhI
  2. So I had my ninebot mini working as a mule to pull a wheelchair. I have a big dog and I cannot walk fast enough to exercise him. I made an extension bar that connected to the knee pads to try and control it. It sometimes got away from me. SO…. I tried a more serious mod, and I took the wheels of the mini and replaced the wheelchair wheels. I made a foot brace to hold the mini body, and had it so that it pivoted on some pipe that I put in the original wheel mounting blocks on the mini. I extended the wires from the wheels, including the 5 control wires. When I powered up the mini I get 3 flashing lights followed by 9 lights. I inverted it and powered it on, hoping that a reset would fix it….. No good. Even upside down I get 3 flashes followed by 9 flashes. I looked for error codes, and see some listed, but none had a 3 followed by 9. I hope that I did not blow the board. (I did have trouble getting the control cables disconnected and I ended up pulling the cable and the tan sleeve on both sides I can try putting it all back together, but before I do that I wanted to see if anyone can tell me what the error code is. I have soldered the leads and sensors to disconnects on both ends. I suspect that it is a communication error and it does not like the extension of the control leads. (I guess that is I hope it is this, better than a blown board) I did use cat5 twisted pair cable to try and keep noise down….. It could also be that it does not like the loss of the longer power cables. I used 14 gage wire, which as abut as big as I could fit in the body. I did fit disconnects on the power leads so I could make the extension section heaver….. But I first wanted to find out what the error code is. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Hey! I had a small accident and my Gotway Tesla fell and spun a bit on the ground. When I tried to pick it up again it wouldn't stabilize. I tried to put it down sideways again, then lift it back upright and again, it wouldn't do it. Then I tried to shut it off, but it wouldn't do that either. I took a small film of it when I got home. I took out the batteries and motherboard, nothing looked wrong, no cables lose. I didn't know how to get to the motor, so i couldn't check that. I tried to search for any store or sites that sell replacement parts, but I found nothing. Thanks for any help
  4. Since lunchtime, my Ninebot E+ will not turn on by pressing the on/off red button. This occurred after a reasonably rough drop off a sloped box on to which I had hopped on to. Occasionally if I press the button the red ring lights will come on for around 20 seconds (but the NB does not function), after which the lights go off again. The only way I can get the NB to turn on is by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting the battery. On reconnecting the battery, the NB turns itself on and functions normally. Once on, the on/off red button appears to turn off the NB normally but, on further investigation the control board still has power as a blue light is still on and there is a red light flashing (although the self balancing has been turned off). I have performed a basic inspection of the connections (and condition of the wires) between the battery and control board, the on/off switch and control board and the control board and motor. I have swapped the battery (both are charged) and get the same issue. I assume the on/off button is some kind of momentary switch? I will do some in depth investigation this weekend but wondered if anyone had any ideas?
  5. I got my airwheel x3 yesterday that I ordered from a company in China through Aliexpress. I turned it ON but it stopped, turned all the lights on and beeped. Today I figured I would give it a try to charge the battery. Connecting the charger to the unit worked good at first. Charger showed red light at first and green light when finished. Now.. When I attempted to put the airwheel ON, it went fast forward for about 2dm and then it just stopped and beeped. I turned it OFF and tried to turn it ON again, but nothing happened. I connected the charger to the airwheel once again, but this time the red light blinked and the wheel started to vibrate 1 time per second. I've been searching all over the Internet trying to find out what the problem can be. I've been thinking that the problem could be the charger and I'm thinking about ordering a new one. I have emailed the company about this problem but I have not recieved an answer yet. Anybody else with this problem while charging? The airwheel does not show any sign of life by the way, its completely dead.
