    Heels

I've never tried it for long distances, but I find that wearing dress shoes (Oxfords, vibram sole, padded insole, slight heel) is actually more comfortable than sneakers or other athletic shoes for unicycling. This youtube video shows a pro wearing something similar in some scenes. What is your favorite footwear for unicycling? I'm going to do about 15 miles today in the dress shoes to see what it is like.
  2. Hello, first of all, thank you for the forum. Recently my ninebot segway es1 stopped working, it is necessary to change the "motherboard". The one inside the tube. I can not send it to repair the official service. I have looked at this piece online, I have found it relatively cheap. But I read that if I change the motherboard myself, I will get error 35 and I will not be able to activate it. Somebody could help me ? Thank https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/YHVNzhI
  3. I just started out yesterday.. Today I managed to go the length of my entire block ... When the ninebot was cruising I had no issue with control. However as I slowed it down... the wheels began to wobble I dont mean like I am zigzagging .. I mean like it wobbles like it is warped or something.. Scared the crap out of me.. I spun the wheel and looked trying to find any bend or any kind of warping in the axis but didnt see any ... Is this normal ? Another question I have.. The speed limit that I set on the max speed ... only applies when you set Limit to ON, right ? I mean.. surely the max speed of the Ninebot C+ is not 6.2mph Thoughts ?

    MSV3 Wind testing

My airwheel was quite good in strong wind. If the wind was behind you or towards you control was pretty excellent - less so if it's coming at you from the side. Most of the time I could stay on it, and even tolerate powerful sideways blasts by zig-zagging across it to avoid being blown off. So I had imagined that the Gotway MS3, with its heavier weight, fatter tyre, and stable ride authority would do equally well, if not better in 50 mph+ wind. Well I was wrong about that The infamous 'rock zone' - the null area around the center of gravity becomes something of an issue in strong headwind. The wind I was in this morning was strong enough to make my pedals rock back and forth like nobody's business, which very much didn't help my forward motion. Sideswipes by the wind seem to upset the stability of the tyre on the ground more, sending me wobbly, rather more easily than what happened with my old 14 incher in similar conditions. Lastly, with wind full against you, the wheel doesn't like being pushed forwards, and feels like it is struggling to exert itself with any authority. I found I could improve things slightly by rotating my body so that I was more side-on to the wind, and offering minimum profile to air drag, but even so, that was quite hard going ! I am going out in it again now Anyway, so what are your thoughts on Gotways and high wind ? Are there any other techniques you guys have found for minimizing the problems ? CBR
  5. Hi guys, I don't know if you've already seen this one, the control this guy has over his EUC is just mindblowing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IjeoFe8azw&feature=youtu.be
  6. The new Ninebot Mini can be remote controlled. I'm wondering if there are any off-the-shelf components that make EUC remote controlled. Currently there is no real business case but just wondering. Let's say I go on my bike and my Ninebot should just follow me like a dog, without any one riding on it. There are some quad copters that does it but I don't know how they do it.
