Amazon has been dropping the price on the 2018 version of the MiniPro steadily by a few dollars for a while sometimes, like today, making several drops in a single day. The current price at the time of this message was $394.68 SEGWAY miniPRO Smart Self Balancing Transporter 2018 Edition, 12.5 Mile Range, 10 MPH Sold and Shipped by Amazon.com Not a bad deal, and at the current rate of price changes it still may go lower. Unfortunately it has the slightly lower capacity battery, and the company should be boycotted for such a move. The real name of this version is the 2018 Downgraded Edition, and how many companies do that and have the product survive? If it hits $300 it's a good buy for back-up parts, although it's not likely to fall that far. -

I'm going to look more into it later to see if it would work as a "cover my ass" cam for general riding but thought I'd post it up here so you could take a peek too. Let me know what you think about it.

Many testimonials from Mini Pro buyers show that the batteries are dead. The Mini Pro are now too old to sell. They came out in November 2015, then there were others made in June 2016, if the batteries are over a year old, without being recharged, they do not turn on anymore. Mini Pro buyers in France and the United States testify that they can not turn on the Mini PRO. Do not buy Mini PROs that have been stored for too long Last week I saw a Mini Pro in a shop, it has not moved for a year, the tires are deflated, I imagine that the battery has never been recharged But a Mini Pro buyer imported from China has not had this problem, more recent manufactured in 2017 (see pictures below). Since they were activated in China before being sent, they are therefore in working condition Ask the seller the production date, tell him it's because of the batteries. Hi all, For those who are Amazon Prime members, the Segway MiniPro costs only $499 for the next 24-30 hours during the "Prime Day" sales going on this week. You can sign up for the service as a trial member for 30 days and start ordering immediately. BTW, it is possible to be a Prime member and order from the US site even if one lives outside the US (I have done it for many years). Some items can be shipped outside the US, although this item can only be delivered to a US address, so you will need a contact, friend or mail forwarding company to assist you.
