  1. I was reading in another topic when I saw statements about the "ONEWHEEL" seeming to be slow. They go about 19-20 mph with the newest one being a little faster if you don't mine risking a face plant. The best selling "Boosted Board" eskateboard goes 22 mph. Most of the other players go 20 to ~ 26 mph. A few custom types do 30+. Escooters typically are in the 15-18 mph range with more powerful models capable of doing ~ 28 mph. The top models are in the 35 - 40 mph range. Electric bikes are mostly in the 20 - 25 mph range - throttle only. Gotway has pretty much made the EUC the dominate force o
  2. Hi everyone, We have all read in the media today that UK is clamping down on self balancing devices! Lets try to put a stop to this and show our unity on this matter. Let's try to change the law...!!! l have came a across this petition set up by Steve Miltion. If it gets over 80,000 signatures it will be discussed on the House of Commons! Let's start signing! Please let's spread the word on social media and get the numbers we need! Let's do it for EUC! Thank you for your support #UKridesEUC ---------------------- Allow the usage of self-balancing scooters on public footways and cycle lanes

  5. Gotway Tesla VS Ninebot One Z 16" VS 18" What do you guys think?
  6. The following EUC Mobile App comparison was commissioned by eWheels.com in an attempt to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the major EUC mobile apps available today. [edit: this comparison was mostly focusing on Main Page Dashboard layout/ergonomic strengths and weaknesses, hopefully pointing out where key important metrics and buttons were missing and relegated unnecessarily to secondary screens / menus]

  8. Hi all, Purchased King song 14c (800w) from Wheelgo late 2015, without warning the axle cracked approximately 3 months later. Unfortunately Wheelgo no longer trade from the UK, Jason was kind enough to send me the complete service manual, but unfortunately his suggestion to 'hammer it back' was never going to work. Dispite a number of emails to http://www.szkingsong.com/ they do not appear to be able to reply. Cost £895 Broken axle 3 months later cost/ time = £298 a month. I am also lucky enough to own an ips and ninebot, had no issues with these units. Liam

  10. Hello, I'm going to LA next week and I wonder if there's an EUC rental place at Santa Monica? I own a KS18S and a Mten3 back in Utah and I can't take them on the plane. Thanks!
  11. I love my Kingsong 16s. Been riding it for about 2 weeks... But now my wife (who rides the NineBot 1C+ cant catch up with me) so am looking for something faster for her. So I found this Tesla. Damn... Speed is 33+ MPH. Not sure if I have the nerve to go that fast on 1 wheel. But sure would be nice to have that ability. And the 16 inch is preferred to me. Ewheels is offering a preorder of the 1080WH model. Am not sure if I would need that much juice since my outings normally only for 2-3.. may be 4 hours.. So I think 680WH model sounds more like what I am interested in. . Question is..
  12. Alright, after a couple years of owning the SoloWheel Xtreme, and many other electric unicycles, I gotta say, by far, that the Solowheel is the most difficult to ride, by a very large margin. There is no doubt in my mind that anyone used to riding hard settings on wheels such as GotWay models and similar would not be able to ride my Solowheel, at all. Why? Well it's simple, the MASSIVE lean. Accelerating/decelerating, my body leans 45 degrees! Compared to my Gotways which have no lean while moving. Or with King Song which has only like a 5 degree lean, no more. My Xtreme is very
  13. Hey all, just wanted to ask if it`s a problem when i drive my KS18 at the beach - not directly in the sand - were on a north sea island called "Borkum" in Germany for holiday (probably somebody knows it) and we have a lot of pavement besides the beach, but the sand is very fine and the wind spreads it also on the pavement. So it`s important to me if my KS 18AY+ would have any problems with sand. If it´s a problem i will not drive here...anybody experienced driving the euc on sandy roads? Thanks in advance
  14. https://worldbicyclerelief.org/en/ and there are many other similar bicycle-oriented humanitarian efforts. but we all know, here at least, which of the two to go with instead of wringing his panties along with putin over the AI apocalypse, mr. musk should devote part of his efforts, since batteries are a huge part of his game, to the development and permeation of awesome eucs and charging centers throughout the world!
  15. A buddy of mine has been riding his Ninebot Mini Pro daily for more than a year and he always complained about how slow and annoying because of the alarm and tiltback. Recently, he switched to EUC. He bought a BNIB Ninebot One E+ with NO modification at all. After learning and riding it for about a month later, out of curiosity I asked him whether he likes it or not, since I know that a Ninebot One E+ normally is not fast enough for regular cruising. But I was surprised when he didn't have any complain about its speed at all besides of the battery capacity, of course. Not even complained about
  16. Hi guys, Looking for some advice really. Had my first crash today... Which I knew I would and was inevitable really. So firstly, I've set my tiltback to 42kmh using the Gotway app and disabled the first alarm. I was riding in a straight line, in a tarmac carpark and my Msuper decided it was going to chuck me off. I didn't hit any bumps, neither did my alarms go off. I didn't feel the tilt back come into play either so I was wondering if anyone knows the answer as to why I came off? I was sure the tilt back would let me know when I was getting too fast? The only thing

  18. Hi guys, I've been following this forum for about 3 months, and decided it was about time I signed up and introduced myself. My name is Liam, 26, from Rugby, England. My post is really is to thank you all for the information that you've provided here, in various threads, as without it, I wouldn't have taken the plunge and bought my brand new Gotway Msuper V3! Going to share my experience so far... My EUC lifestyle started awfully, with an injury! I was so excited to have picked it up, I couldn't wait to have a go. Went out to play squash the next morning with the intention

  20. I am currently working on a project that is focused on different ways to increase overall awareness of personal electric vehicles including electric unicycles. I have created a very simple 12 question anonymous survey on typeform and it would be very helpful to get a better understanding of other early adopters of the EU to move forward with project. ( https://early-eu-adopters.typeform.com/to/DXnrES ) It is called the "EU Early Adopter Survey".
  21. Hi, everyone! This is my first post here (and certainly not my last one ;-) ). I'm Justina and I've fallen in love with electric unicycles. It all began from curiosity "how can I improve my daily commute?", and when I bought my first EUC, it instantly became my hobby. Then I met some local enthusiasts and our small group started growing. After a while we started a project together that over time has become www.ElectricUnicycles.eu Our mission is to increase people's awareness of electric unicycles and show them it is not a gadget or a prototype - it is the best way of perso
  22. I have been riding my kingsong 14c for a few months and It drove me crazy how tiny the pedals are. Obviously, I am not the only person who thinks this. Used 1/4 inch think redwood planks, VHB mounting tape, gorilla glue tape and covered it all with grip tape. It ride so nicely now. Center of gravity is a little bit high, but its not bad. Ankles do not hurt and its just great. Main piece of wood is 10 inches by 4.5 inches. I also made a video showing it all:
  23. The sound I'm trying to recreate is: Baseball Card in Rear Bicycle Spokes held on by a clothes pin -- sound effect. Dirt bike / motorcycle sound effect. Attempt #1: Laminated card stock. Which has since fallen away to leave just plastic. I slipped the laminate into the crevice and hot glued it. Attempt #2: I tried using a soda can but cannot get it to stay put against the case lip. I just had an idea to put the can INSIDE the case on top dead center.
