  1. Hello my friends... So, the time has come, I want to make my 18XL look nice and shiny again... I want to buy new plastic shells... Do you got any idea please, where to buy it and what pieces of plastic to buy? I am from central europe... My 18XL got nearly 3000km, what a great wheel... But those scratches from the first 1000km, I hate those... Thank you guys, have a great day!
  2. Here is a review of both the 18XL and the EUC Bodyguard from roll.nz. Please note the Bodyguard has improved a lot since I purchased it. Very happy with both products.
  3. The other i was on my usual route. About half way the wheel started to jerk like crazy. I turned it off and on again but still after a couple feet wheeling it it jerks again. I opened up the wheel, checking the mother board, connections and axle. It seems that everything is tight and good. I accidentally reset the wheel my unplgging the battery connectors and pushing the button again to discharge. I put back all the screws and casing of the wheel and tried it last night and it was fine now. Do you guys think it was a software issue? I’m on the latest firmware. I didn’t see any debris stuck on the wheel while opening. Hopefully it stays good that way.
  4. These three EUCs have all sold, but there are plenty more available from eWheels! I've got three EUCs for sale. I'm in Los Angeles, California and will give you a free introductory training session, first time riders welcome, or a more advanced training session, if you're experienced. Whatever your skill level, I can help you be a better rider. If you like, I also can help you update the firmware, get the right App, connect to your smartphone, inflate the tire, and do what I can to make sure you're all set-up. No shipping charge, if we meet. Shipping cost will vary, depending on your location in the contiguous U.S. No shipping outside the U.S. 1. Ninebot One Z10 for $1475 with 3.8 miles on it and in perfect condition. Never dropped, has no issues at all. 995Wh battery. 28 MPH top speed, 25-45 mile range. I purchased it through eWheels, so if any repairs should become necessary (none needed now) it can go through eWheels. The warranty recently ran out. This Ninebot One Z10 is no longer available. It's been sold. <Pictures of it deleted> 2. GotWay MSX (Msuper X) 100V version, $1600, with 6.1 miles on it. Includes a 3D printed fender from eWheels. The MSX is in good condition, some low speed drops with minor scuffing under the pedals. Includes a new seat that has never been used. 1230Wh battery. 40+ MPH top speed, 50-60 mile range. (A new GotWay MSX 100V currently sells for $500 more, $2100 on eWheels, with a one year warranty). Warranty on this used MSX for sale is valid for six more months until March 1, 2020 through eWheels. When the warranty expires, should it need any repairs, it can be done through eWheels. I will also be available to help out, should there be any questions or issues, both before and after the warranty expires. You have double support on this wheel, triple, if you include the GotWay warranty. This GotWay MSX is no longer available. It's been sold. <Pictures of it deleted> 3. King Song KS-18XL for $1850 with no miles on it, never been ridden, still sealed in the box. 1554Wh battery. 31 MPH top speed, 60-70 mile range. Has the larger, better 10-inch pedals (factory installed) AND includes a 2nd charger. Factory warranty through King Song valid until January 1, 2020. The 18XL pictured is another one I have just like it, not the one still in the box. This King Song KS-18XL is no longer available. It's been sold. <Picture deleted>
  5. Hi, I'm wondering what other 18XL owners' experience is with the 18XL in terms of speed throttling at low battery. My experience is... It's never done it to me... Ever. Granted, I usually charge it when it gets down to 30% (I like long rides so I tend to want to make sure I'll have plenty of range whenever I go out for a ride), but the when times I've gone below 25%...no speed throttling if any kind. The day before yesterday I got it down to 15% (idle) by the end of the ride, and zero tiltback our speed throttling. Even during the last few kms, (I was monitoring Wheelog constantly while riding), the battery ranged from 5-8% under stress, and dropped to 0% on a few steepish climbs, still no throttling. Is this normal? Should I be worried? Granted, on such low battery I throttle myself out of common sense (no high speed, yet to avoid bumps, etc), but I'd still like to know whether this is an isolated issue with my wheel or if others area experiencing the same thing. Thanks!
  6. How can I play song with ks18xl? I cant find anything in the app(new kingsong app). Thank you in advance.
  7. i am new to euc world. have a ninebot s1 which i’ve been practicing on for the past 2 weeks. i got about 40 miles on it and hit the max speed constantly. it is still a great wheel for me to learn on but i just put down a deposit with jason at ewheels for either a 16x or 18xl. i was going to get the v10f but when i found out the speed starts dropping from %75 battery, it turned me off. i probably wont even go the speed that v10f can do but idk, i just dont want to surprise myself and have to upgrade again. i have been researching the 16x and 18xl and just cant decide, now to make life more difficult, i’ve been looking at the gotway msx too. i just dont see me going over 25mph, cruising speed probably around 20ish, once i get proficient at lower speeds! i weigh 165lb and am 5’10”. 58 years old that cant be breaking bones but too dumb to actually know it! im not one to buy different wheels just to have a collection, i want one that i can grow into. rather have the power and speed for if i ever get to that point. wont be doing alot of off roading, i use my SxS for that. any input will be appreciated. thx
  8. ray rokni

    16x or 18xl

wanting to upgrade in the next couple months from nb s1 to either ks 16x or ks 18xl. new to euc world. so battery and motor being the same which wheel would be more fitting for someone if 5’10 165lb, no commuting, no off roading as main part of it, using it for fun, riding around 20 miles round trips maybe little longer. like it to be nimble and responsive yet somewhat forgiving. any input is appreciated thx
  9. WHICH UNICYCLE DO YOU THINK SHOULD BUY? WHICH ONE SHOULD İ BUY????
  10. Hello guys, hope youre having awesome days with your wheels!❤️ I recieved my new lovely 18XL last week and I completely forgot to check the tire pressure...(ridden around 60km so far and I love it!) My BW is 80Kg, I am 180cm... How many PSI / BAR should I use? Thank you very much guys, have a great day!
  11. I'm looking to purchase my first EUC and have a few questions on wheel size. I've ridden a friend's EUC a few times and think I'm ready to commit. Right now I have it narrowed down between the Kingsong 18XL and the Kingsong 16X. This is based on the following criteria in no particular order: Range of at least 30mi/50km Comfortable for 10-15mi commute (each way) Able to fit on a bus if the weather is bad (there is usually plenty of space available on the buses where I am, so it could share the seat next to me if necessary) Hill climbing (I live in the mountains so I need some torque to get up/down the hills) Off-road capable (I'd like to take this on some nearby trails that include some tree roots, bumps, drops, gravel, loose dirt, etc) Reliable (I've heard to stay away from the first few batches of a wheel while the kinks are worked out) Speed of at least 20mph/33kph From what I've gathered on my searches: Small wheels are best for: Hill climbs (smaller wheels have more torque since they require less energy to move one full rotation) Agility (less mass/inertia) Large wheels are best for: Commuting (the larger the wheel, the larger the bumps it can "ignore" or not feel) Long rides (larger surface area on the pavement feels "smoother") Gravel/Off-road bumpy terrain (aforementioned reasons ^^) Sorry for the long read, but here are my questions. How big of a difference in comfort is between an 18" and 16" wheels when commuting/off-roading, and how much of a torque difference between the two? Will the 16" be a noticeably better hill climber than the 18", or overheat as easily as the 18xl as @Marty Backe has shown in his videos? How much should I be worried about first/second batch issues with the 16X? TLDR; I want a wheel for commuting and off-road with good range and torque. What are the pro's/con's of a 16" over an 18" and how big of a difference between the two? Thanks in advance for the help and insights!
  12. Hey! I'm about to pull the trigger on my first wheel and I'm looking for best in class/most bang for buck combined with best looking. Both equally important. I got a couple of more or less hopeless subjective questions I would like your input on: 1. Is the Ninebot Z10 the best looking wheel? I had decided on Kingsong 18XL until I saw the Z10. Should I still get the 18XL because it is so much better in every other aspect than design? 2. Guess no one gets away with not paying tax on stuff from Aliexpress anymore? Still cheaper even with VAT (18XL - €1900 vs €2300) but then there's the wait... seems like most deliveries take around 60 days. That's crazy long for something you want yesterday. Thoughts? I'm in Sweden so still have to buy from another country. Thanks!
  13. Hello my friends! This question is for 18XL owners... Can you share with me the true range your 18XL can make? +Your weight? The temperature outside? Thank you a lot, it will help me a lot... Have a great day guys!
  14. This is the first ride Kingsong 18XL with my new machine from Speedyfeet in the UK. I took this brand new Electric unicycle out for its maiden trip. This is soo nice :-)
  15. Hello 18xl riders! Im thinking about the true range you can get with this wheel..... I saw some youtube range tests...but they were quite different from each other... What is your range you can get with the 18XL if you cruise 25-30 mph avarage? Thank you guys, have a great sunny week!
  16. Ok so, Hello again... I have just realised, the 18xl and MSuperX are the same price on Aliexpress... Do you guys have some experiences with those wheels? What wheel gets better range? I know MSX has higher top speed... For a daily commute +- 50km.... Thanks guys, have a great ride!
  17. Hello guys, I can have Z10 for 1450 USD Or 18XL for 1750 USD. What wheel should I get? I want long range, so 18XL might be better for me, but i dont really know the true range of z10... What do you guys think about it? Is the 18xl worth the 300 bucks? Thanks, have a great day!
  18. Hello my friends! I am looking to buy KS18XL, I am from central europe, but here the wheel is 2200 EUR, wich is way too expensive. I dont wanna spent more than 1500 EUR. Is there some way to get it cheap in europe? Thanks guys, have a great day.
  19. Received the new foot platforms today. I installed them and took the wheel for a ride. I noticed an immediate improvement in how it felt to stand on the platformsI felt more balanced. I actually felt as if I had more control of the wheel. That feeling could be purely psychological given that I didn't spend very much time riding the wheel. It could also be an effect of what seems to be a grippier foot tape. I don't know whether the tape feels gripper because it lays across the entire surface of the wheel, has a higher friction surface, none of the above, or all of the above. I suspect that my feet will fare Better on longer rides with these larger platforms. However, at the end of the day standing for long periods of time is still standing for long periods of time. I will take the wheel for a ride to explore any changes wrought by new foot platforms. Except for the mudflap. My 18L now looks entirely like the 18XL, with all the same equipment except for the battery. gives me a great idea of what it will be like to ride the XL when it arrives. Looking forward to getting some real impressions about those new foot platforms on a longer ride. Important note. When installing the new platforms please be aware that the metal dowel that holds the platform to the hanger now installs from only one side (on the K for Kingsong side). You will now only need one hexagonal screw on one side of the platform to hold it in place.
