  1. I read about the upside down thing too and that’s what tech support had me do. That didn’t work. The fix was actually rather simple. There’s a reset function within the app (which I hate using) which actually recalibrates the sensors. Fixed. ?
  2. I don't know what happened but yesterday I was riding I came to a stop and picked up the unit by the bar and put the unit down on the grass (i can't remember if I turned it off or not before I put it down) I went to turn it back on to ride and ONLY the right wheel was spinning forward causing the Ninebot to only spin in a circle. When I power it on and lift it off the ground both wheels do spin in unison for a short time and then they stop after about 3 seconds. Looks like it's fixed right? Wrong. When I put it back down on the ground only the right wheel moves. I read about turning it upside down and powering it on (that didn't work) Is there a master reset somewhere on the unit itself? Thanks!
  3. I'm pretty sure no official one exists. Just wondering if anyone here has found a speaker that might be good to mount on the upright bar? I was thinking of getting a JBL Flip and mounting it with Velcro straps.
  4. Seriously. This is great news. I assumed they would seal the electronics and I don't plan on riding in the rain but just knowing that if I ever get caught in the rain I'll be ok.
  5. HEAVY rain? Wow. I think my first "off road" attempt will be on the golf course with wet grass.
  6. I'm just trying to be super cautious because I've hear their customer support is questionable!
  7. Yep. That's what I did the first time (left the charger on after it was full) I'm still working on my first full charge as I've only had the Mini for a week or so so I haven't even charged it twice yet.
  8. Has anyone had any experience with this yet? I don't plan on riding it through puddles. But what about wet ground (maybe you accidentally go through a small puddle) or wet grass?
  9. These articles are fantastic. Thank you esaj. Seems like the best course of action is to not charge completely!
  10. Anyone tell me the proper way to charge a battery? I used to deplete batteries completely and then charge them again to 100% because it used to extend the life of the battery now I'm reading do not deplete the battery completely and do not charge above 80% can anyone clarify this?
