  1. Thank you! Sorry so late. I have been traveling. I will message more when I have questions!
  2. Sup guys, I'm sort of in the same boat, except I'm rebuildling a stock Gotway 820wh ACM. @electroman I have the same board you posted except it has LHY20SP written on it. The added "P" is different. Will this BMS work for the Gotway 820wh? I will re-do the whole wiring diagram in Microsoft Power Point before moving foward with the entire setup. I'll post it once I get all the information correct.
  3. Did figure it out? Im doing this as well.
  4. I'm building my own packs, but using the gotway factory BMS and wires. Does anyone have or can find a wiring/tab diagram, schematics, or configuration to include which of the factory wires are soldered to the board? Or maybe a picture of your Tesla battery pack without the plastic film? EDIT: How do I move this to MODs, Repairs and DIY?
  5. Perfect. I'll give this a try in my evenings. Thanks, Carlos. I will update by next week.
  6. Yep, for the modifications. Since I'm buying a new one anyways, I might as well acquire one that is already outfitted. This gives me more piece of mind when I'm riding the wheel at the limits. I do appreciate your advice. Please don't think that I see your words as offensive. It's quite the opposite - I welcome it.
  7. Would your friend be able to help me out on this purchase?
  8. So I did not have a new connector, but I did have the pins and tools to change at least the pins out. I turned it back on, ran calibration, but still the same problem. I started to disassemble the wheel, but someone, probably me, a long time ago, used red loctite on the six large screws holding in one side of the shell. Two of those screws came out fine, but the other four are stripping the head and are there for good. I cannot remove the shell any further without causing permanent damage. I can however, reassemble the entire wheel as-is and ride it, but that leads me to question: How dangerous is this wobble/play? As the wheel and shell lay on it's side, I wiggle the shell, and it is reproducing the same effect though minor than in the video, and is leading me to believe that after +2000km of hard riding, the plastic shell/chasis may be showing wear and tear, thus giving the "wobble" and "play." But again, I am no expert, and a solution is still in the air. As far as I am concerned, there are two possible outcomes to both our hypothesis: either the hall sensor is bad and it's decently safe to ride though serious failure is imminent, or the shell is showing wear and tear which eventually, will result in catastrophe - especially at the speeds that I ride. Both of these scenarios are reason enough for me to say that this wheel is done. For now, I would only feel safe riding this wheel with majority of its parts replaced. What do you think Carlos?
  9. Does anyone have a connection? The website indicates that they don't deliver internationally. If it's a dangerous goods issue, would they deliver only the shell? I would like it delivered anywhere in Europe/Russia. https://www.gevkorea.co.kr/member/login.php?guestOrder=1&returnUrl=%2Forder%2Forder.php
  10. Oh wow, yep. They all move. Thanks, Carlos.
  11. Here I pulled the hall sensor off of the board and inspected it. I moved the cables around and everything seems to move freely. I reinserted the cable and the problem still exists. This is a picture that I took before reinsertion.
  12. I took a look at the pedal and it wasn't loose. Thanks for mentioning this.
  13. Hm.. I am looking at them, but what am I really looking for? The connector is white glued (silicon?) to the board. Shall I remove it and reinsert?
  14. I removed the cover and it doesn't seem like the nut is the problem. Maybe I'm wrong. Can you take a look at the video? Test Video2 Android HD.mp4
  15. I've had it for 2093km. I noticed it when I first got the machine, but it was very slight, and I asked on Facebook or this forum (I forgot) and the answer was, "Welcome to Gotway." It wasn't very noticeable until 2000km.
  16. Before I take this thing apart, I'm wondering if you guys can give me some insight on what this "wobble" or "play" is so that I know what to watch out for and what I'm getting into. How dangerous is this? I've attached a video, but I'm not sure if it will display properly. Gotway ACM 16 Wobble Play VLC Android SD High.mp4
  17. Im using the app that JaneMo posted on the Gotway Facebook group. It has only has sport, medium, and leisure mode. Where do I download the "Madden Mode" version?
  18. Can we add Google Glass to the list? I'm no where near a developer, but I'm willing to test.
  19. Happened to me as well. I have the V2 with 12 mosfets and new motor connector plug.. Brand new ACM with total ride time of five minutes: I started the ACM, yes on a minor incline, I heard the beep, jumped on immediately, and FLIP! I caught myself and let the ACM twirl on the ground like a fish out of water. I had already read your post before I got the ACM, so I was ready for the failure. Now I follow what a user posted above (sorry I can't be bothered to look up the name) about starting the ACM, rolling it back and forth a bit while watching the lights in the rear of the device, and then making a "leap of faith." To be honest, I'm scared as sh*t to ride the ACM after this failure. I'm coming from a 9B1E+ with over 100km of riding and this failure never happened: I started the 9B1E+, hopped on and took off looking like a champ. But, I know that in order to build confidence back, I must ride no matter what. So, commence operation "leap of faith." And yes, if this keeps happening, I'll have to move away from Gotway. Sad face. Generally I'm happy, but I hope enough riders post the issues to force Gotway into better customer service or lose business. That's just how things are going to work out - sorry Gotway. Thanks for posting this issue. Good luck to everyone.
  20. Does anyone have this in stock yet? I'd like to order a pair.
  21. Now that Li-Ion batteries are becoming more of an issue for shipping and airline regulations, I can foresee many sad riders without their EUCs, exploring new places very slowly. With these new regulations coming our way, let's share battery information so we can have a workaround until us humans figure out how to ship and fly without problems. For me, I am working with someone locally in-country that will build the battery pack. I have found some information below, and I hope this doesn't violate any forum rules, but if so, please let me know how to fix it: 1. First, below is a video of the GotWay ACM 16 that shows the battery compartment and a good view of the battery label. 2. Second is a video of a battery pack they are repairing. I think this is only half of the battery pack. 3. To repeat what Lin said above, ".. ACM and Msuper V3 battery are the same. Both 680wh and 820wh are with 2 packs of batteries." 4. I talked over the phone with Chris from 1RadWerkstatt who has already tried shipping Li-Ion battery packs to Israel on three different occasions, but they were all denied. He was more than happy to share any battery advice and configuration with me in hopes that I would be able to supply my GotWay ACM 16 with a new life. 5. I also attached a PDF and picture of the batteries that they used in the video: 59V/410ah. I google searched the cell name on the label of the battery. 6. I will be cross-posting this to other posts that relate to this topic. It was a little frustrating to find this information so I hope this helps someone out there. Thanks to Lin and Chris for helping me. GotWay ACM 16 Battery Cell ncr18650ga.pdf
  22. I'm searching for the battery packs for my ACM. Gotway's Alibaba website has two battery packs, but it doesn't list compatibility with the ACM either because the text wasn't edited or they are not compatible. Can you guys give me a hand and take a look at your batteries and compare them to the ACM and the battery packs online? Here are the two battery packs I found: http://kebye.en.alibaba.com/product/60452610501-802989529/Battery_pack_for_gotway_mcm4_one_wheel_self_balancing_electric_unicycle_scooter.html http://kebye.en.alibaba.com/product/60447020750-802989529/battery_pack_for_gotway_mcm_self_balancing_electric_unicycle.html
