  1. subject is already discussed in this topic In 2014 somebody from Amsterdam told me that his EUC had been accepted in the plane and that the stewardesses were even excited to see such a - at that time - futuristic machine. If there are battery exchange stations in many cities, like Gogoro in Taiwan, this is the future. Problem is: people use their own plug at home to charge, you would need such stations a few times a year when you are on holiday. How can the owner of the station make money with such a low demand?
  2. Increasing speed to 100km/h with 24" highway capable EUC's with 120V or 150V but limiting automatically the speed to +-30km/h if the ultimate chest and shoulder protection is not on the rider: check by bluetooth connection to the chest and shoulder protection. By this way countries will stop forbidding EUC's.
  3. If you put your hands in your pocket, during a shutoff, you do not have the time to bring your hands out of your pocket and thus you cannot catch yourself and as consequence you will fall fully on your chest and this jacket will do then its job. even without hands in pocket one time at speed 3km/h, I had bent too much forward and I had a shutoff, I had not the time to put my hands on the ground.
  4. Since I work as SafetyManager, I did not want to buy faster EUCs than I had unless I had found a gear that protects fully from braking shoulder bones and chest bones after EUC shutoff at high speeds (>40km/h). I was since long time searching for a very thick foam chest and shoulder protector like the foam that we have in the helmet. Since everyone who falls at high speed with a helmet, confirms that the helmet protects the head very good, in contrast to the chest and shoulder protection, I was thinking "why don't they make a protection for shoulders with the SAME MATERIAL and SAME THI
  5. I have read many EUC accidents where people had broken, dislocated shoulders but in many cases no serious hand or knee injuries did happen (the higher from the ground, the more the injuries =>hand & knee less damaged than shoulder). However people insist in protecting hands and knees while they let their shoulders unprotected without shoulder pads. another picture of shoulder pad. And since full breast protection or motorcycle jacket is too complicated to wear, people avoid shoulder protection.
  6. I tried this app. it shows all but not the total distance that the EUC has ridden in its life. :(
  7. I had an app for gotway msuper v2 which showed the total distance that the wheel has ridden during its whole life. Now I cannot find this app. Does anyone has this app? It is not on this site or on internet anymore. The apps that are available do not show the total kms. and the newest app does not allow me to enter: no confirmation code sent to gsm or mail, and thus no access.
  8. Sometimes it is the tube, sometimes the tire which has no teeth any more which causes puncture with small piece of glass. Maybe it is normal that I repaired +-10-15 times the puncture (sometimes tube, sometimes tire) in +- 11 000km on EUC. Maybe it is me who asks too much from a EUC. Is this also the Mean Time Between Failure for you? every 1000 km one puncture to repair. I had never heard of slime for tire. Thanks for your advice, @Marty Backe. If I want to use that, I should buy a Ninebot Z10 then. On Gotway Msuper X it will not work since it has inner tubes?
  9. Does anyone have experience in turning tubed tires of EUCs in tubeless tires to decrease the maintenance time and decrease the tire punctures.
  10. I am thinking of buying a Msuper X or a Z10. I have Msuper v2 now. I am mad of repairing flat tires. They say that tubeless Z10 is easy to repair, no need to dismantle the wheel like Gotway. But Z10 tire thickness (not width) is thinner than Msuper X so Z10 will get quickly flat. I live in Brussels, too much pieces of glass on the floor, which are not cleaned. I have placed anti puncture tires, inner tube protections, but when the tire get used, it can be punctured again. What do you advice me for repair aspects?
  11. normally I ride 25km/h and I obey the beeps (I never listen to music to hear the beeps) but at that moment I was distracted apparently. I proposed tilt back as solution for overspeed but there are also people who fall due to agressive and sudden unattented tilt back
  12. Here is my accident experience after >10000km: 1st EUC: unbranded unicycle 14" wheel 300W nominal: - motor cut-off at 15km/h, not even fallen, I continued running => advice: don't buy unicycles with low speed limits, with low power! - smaller wheels makes you slow down at every discontinuity on the road (pavement, pits) and they can make you loose your balance (=our main fear) and fall more frequently at non-flat roads => advice: buy bigger wheels for riding stability. I think even 16" is not big enough. The rest is with Gotway Msuper v2 18" 1000W nominal, spe
  13. what is the maximum km that you have done during WHOLE LIFETIME of one battery pack of your EUC? so I mean until your battery pack is dead or nearly dead (until too low capacity and which is this "too low" capacity). my Gotway Msuper 2 just reached 10 000km, all with the same battery pack at the purchase. meanwhile battery capacity is decreased from 65km to 30km. I want to buy a new one and want to know which are the sustainable ones.

  15. my friend had this also with his brandless cheap unicycle (low power, low battery capacity). the EUC is useless now because he has fear that EUC can shut down at all time.
