Lot of us had face plants in this forum. New and experienced. Some of them got seriously injured. I'm wondering if all of them recovered well and riding again. Generally we get posts soon after the unfortunate incidents but after that we don't hear from them again. I'm just curious to know if they still love EUCs.

Welcome!! Please wear all the safety gear. We may meet one of these days and do a group (3 people!) ride.

I wanted that orange reflective tape a while back on my wheel but couldn't exactly find some thing like that so settled with black electric tape. Not relating to wheel, I ordered a landing pad for my drone and it came with pre-cut, reflective, self sticking strips along with it! All I have to do was just peel and stick. What do I say? 8 strips for both sides. Perfect cut, perfect sizing too! All for some $17 bucks. Here is the link for my drone landing mat, that has these strips. https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Protective-Helicopter-Quadcopters-KEBE/dp/B06XDN49ZV/ref=pd_sbs_421_18?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B06XDN49ZV&pd_rd_r=2VR5N1Q26SZ2GDQ9BZK8&pd_rd_w=tZACe&pd_rd_wg=Yx71Z&psc=1&refRID=2VR5N1Q26SZ2GDQ9BZK8 Oops! Wrong thread. Pardon me.

I downloaded your app. By far the BEST app with usability!! Can you make some tiles to "hide"? I'm not interested in seeing EVERY tile ( 16 of them to be precise!) . App user should be able to select which ones to show and which ones to hide. Also what does "Screen recorder" do? It wasn't clear what it does BEFORE making in-App purchase. Would be nice to see what it is in the demo mode. Overall great app. Keep up the good work!!!!

Black electric tape. Not perfectly stretched but good enough from a distance.

22 mile round trip in Austin, TX. My InMotionV5F+ could have made it but I used another V5F+ while coming back. On the other hand Duane's KS 16 made it with plenty of charge left. This is a short version and I may post a longer one sometime later.

I loved the plane part but riding on the streets with traffic is scary.

Repair Motion V8 (and crash report)
Planetpapi replied to VanillaValue's topic in Mods, Repairs, & DIY
Still under warranty but not able to get the warranty? Sounds like Ali Express/ Etc to me. Glad I bought my Ninebot and InMotion from reputed sellers. I don't think we have any incidents similar to yours to compare and diagnose especially with InMotion V8. Happy you didn't get hurt. Also happy you are back on track! -
Makes me wonder. When Segway was introduced a decade ago, everyone complained that's out of range ($6,400) for most people so that's why it failed in the consumer market. Now a mere $599 get you one and no one is buying? What's up with the world? Outside of this forum no one really knows what is a Gotway/ EUC or how Ninebot acquired Segway etc knowledge. For them it's just an affordable Segway. Still no considerable sales?

Found an empty road so I took my InMotion V5F+. Location: Austin, TX.

Texas Lawmakers 'Classifies' the Electric Unicycle
Planetpapi replied to Jason McNeil's topic in General Discussion
Wow!! Great work Michael. EUC is top on the list of 50. Way to go! -
I think it's plain dumb to ride on freeways along with fast moving cars, night time, slippery surfaces. Don't know what to say.

How to ride an electric unicycle - understanding the dynamics
Planetpapi replied to John Eucist's topic in Learning to Ride
I used training wheels in the beginning with a strap, then got rid off the strap, then got rid off the training wheels. I practiced in a tennis court, hanging to the fence wall for balance with all the safety gear. That is helmet, wrist guards, shin pads, knee pads. When putting your foot on the pedal, think of putting your foot on a foam cup without crushing it. Someone here said this, not me, but that was a good analogy. At some point in the beginning you want to give up because it is too hard to balance no matter how much you put effort in it. but DON'T. If we all can do it, you can do it. It's like learning to ride the bicycle all over again. It's hard at first then it's a second nature. -
What damage should we expect to the wheel riding on the beach? Did you have to "clean" it afterwards?

Not related, but Segway Mini Pro at Sams Club is now $599 instead of $800. No demand.

Ninebo, I have a gently used Ninebot One E+ for sale if you consider used ones. Check the Private Sales section. Thanks.

I tried the Inboard M1 Electric Skateboard
Planetpapi replied to diggory 456's topic in General Discussion
Until we get the real "hover board" that really hovers above the ground, we steel the thunder wherever we go. Period. A nude woman running on the street and the EUC rider on the other side. Guess who gets more stares? Anyway what was the price for that slim looking skate board? -
Another plain vanilla riding at a local park, in Round Rock, TX. Still waiting on my InMotion V5F+.

IPS is a good brand but they confuse with model names.

Why the original Segway was so expensive
Planetpapi replied to Smoother's topic in Segway (or equivalent)
I should get at least 16-18 miles but never tested.I guess that's why I have low miles. -
Why the original Segway was so expensive
Planetpapi replied to Smoother's topic in Segway (or equivalent)
I bought mine brand new 4 years back and now only had 350 miles on it. Wondering how much I get if I sell? -
Scary fast indeed. I hope you are fully equipped with safety gear. The wheel handled the speed great and flawless. Is this your current favorite now? www.myfunwheel.com is not coming.FYI.
