  1. Starting this topic to explore offgrid EUC expedition riding with the community. Someone had asked a question recently on solar charging EUCs (related) and I thought it would be interesting to get a broader design/engineering discussion going. To set the stage for the discussion consider the following scenario: 2-3 day offgrid summer ride following converted rail lines covering 350+ miles which means even the Sherman guys will need to top off. Range extension is the goal. The ebike guys are charging while riding using MPPT type chargers (Victron). Not all EUC controllers will support
  2. Want to see what's it's like to self-learn on an EUC? As a long time fan and first time rider I share my experience of learning how to ride for the first time. Learning to ride an EUC (Wheel) is highly achievable for anyone. Bike skills help, but upskilling is a necessary element. For me, it took about 6 hours. Given my own personal time constraints, I split my time over the course of several days. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/4JZF2Fw1Pew Enjoy!
