  1. So you had to wait 8 months to ride? Was that what was recommended or is that when you felt comfortable to start doing so?
  2. Hey guys! So unfortunately I was in an accident a few months ago. I was hit by a car while riding my EUC. I suffered some trauma to my knees. I tore both ACLS and my meniscus in my right knee. I fortunately got my acl and meniscus repaired in my right knee. I'm still waiting to do my left. It's been about 3 months since my surgery and I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with something similar. How long was it before you rode again? When was it safe for you to ride again? Thanks a bunch, I hope to be riding again soon, but it just freaks my out a bit ya know? I'd hate to reinjured my knees because of the movements required to operate it.
  3. @meepmeepmayer so I got knee and elbow pads, wrist guards and a full face helmet. Probably necessary bc I'm already hitting over 40 km/hr already. Its been amazing so far! I am in love and just never want to stop riding lol One thing, do you have any suggestions for preventing calf bruising? I've got some pretty bad ones. Also, when riding for long periods of time, my feet start to Hurt and I'm wondering if this has something to do with my stance. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!
  4. Dude, I know. One of the nicest people I've ever met! He is a regular at my job and we started talking about wheels well, here I am I am so excited! No worries, I appreciate the advice. Any suggestions for which to buy?
  5. Thank you!! I was originally supposed to sell the wheel for my friend in exchange for someone's v8 that I would buy, so they could upgrade, but after riding it a bit. It just felt magical! He's selling it to me for $1000, it has less than 50 miles on it and barely a scratch! I pretty much got the hang of it. I practiced for an hour or so around the block and practiced some figure 8s and tight turns. After that I rode all around the city, probably a total of 20 miles. It was incredible!!! I feel like I definitely got the hang of it and I'm so glad I made the choice to keep it! I'm already exceeding the limits of the v8 speed. Do you have a link for this? I didn't know there was one!
  6. I ended up getting a KS18XL Thanks for all the info guys! I am incredibly stoked to finally have this thing, it feels amazing!!!
  7. @Tazzyou can get a ninebot e+ for around $250 if you search refurbished ninebot on ebay. I'll link you
  8. Hey guys! @mrelwood @Espen he charged it over night and said it charged to 100% 😀 He also sent me a diagnostic report showing it, so I think I'm going to follow through with the purchase! 💙 Thank you again for all your help!
  9. Thank you for the solid advice, I'll keep an eye open for something else that fits my price range. I really appreciate eyou taking the time to break everything down. I'm super excited to have found a community of such awesome and welcoming individuals!
  10. @meepmeepmayer no the offer is definitely no running away. I dont think the guy is trying to pull anything over, as I was the one to seek him out about the EUC. But I'll definitely keep my eye open. It's just been challenging finding someone local in Texas Thanks for all your feedback, I definitely feel more educated in what to look for! 😊
  11. @meepmeepmayer @mrelwood @Espen R @Unventor Here's a link to the diagnosis run on the v8 https://filebin.net/sj1xjhrqe9ujqqsc Thank you guys so much for your input and advice!
