  1. i ended up making a spacer out of super thick leather for the underside of the grab handle where the lift switch is. I prevents the hose clamps from depressing the lift switch. Easy work-around without having to modify the wheel.
  2. So, we've seen Mary Backe's excellent videos on the bicycle seat mod on gotway wheels. Has anyone tried this on the EXN? The handle is similar to the other Gotway wheels, except that the lift switch is under the handle/lift area. With the lift switch in that location, it looks like it will be engaged when the metal hose clamps are tightened to hold the seat in place. Has anyone figured out a workaround for this? I'm thinking of relocating the switch using an add-on momentary switch or maybe fashioning some sort of block to cover the switch to prevent it from being pressed. Hope this make
  3. Trying to get this old Ninebot One E+ going for my 8yr old grandson to learn on. The motor appears to be bad. Anyone have a motor or a non-running wheel for sale or to part out?
  4. I ride the downtown area and the river trail. I have never had a problem with anyone. I ride the downtown sidewalks and have talked to the police on bicycles. They were ok with me.
  5. Can you post a photo showing where the lapel mic is placed and how you secured it to the helmet? Thank you.
  6. My KS16s works perfectly as far as I can tell. Is there a reason to update the FW?
  7. I don't claim to be an expert on the topic of e-bike regulations, either in the USA or elsewhere However, I know that people, in general, do an extremely poor job of policing themselves. If you don't regulate e-bikes, they'll be on the bike paths with pedestrians and other cyclists, and the e-bikes will be hauling ass, putting everyone in danger. The same regulation will come to EUC's as soon as there are enough of them around to get attention. My hope is that EUC riders will be responsible when the need arises. Pass pedestrians slowly and ride slowly in public areas where other people ar
  8. Won't reach the eyes. Already thought about that. I do enjoy how many people online like to showcase their intellectual insights. Good for you.
  9. Sharing helmet mod. Was super easy to do and works like a charm. (I hope the link works.) https://youtu.be/bBUIQ5bV1vc
  10. Care to show a photo of how the lights were mounted onto your helmet? Thanks.
  11. I can't believe 5 minutes of the video was that guy waving his arms around. It would have been hilarious if someone had stepped into the scene and punched him in the face, then whipped away the sheet to unveil the wheel.
  12. mike_bike_kite , yes, that's a paramotor in my pic. I fly a Blackhawk 125 here in Oklahoma.
  13. Seba, I have a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier that I can donate if it would help you. It runs the Tizen OS. The back glass is cracked, but I have a new glass for it. I'm not sure how to install it, but the watch should be ok for testing purposes if you want it. PM an address if you want me to send it to you.
  14. Is it just me, or do the main power wires in EUC's seem small? Under heavy loads, I imagine those wires heat up. Resistance and heat seems like a loss (and waste) of power.
  15. Seba, the panels look awesome. Did you take the panels off to paint them?
  16. If the shell is made of ABS, you can make some ABS glue. I used ABS waste from my 3d printer and mixed it with acetone in a small jar. The more acetone you use, the more runny it is. I mixed mine to the consistency of Elmer's glue and applied it with a popsicle stick or screwdriver. It bonds with abs parts well. A few dabs of straight acetone (using a q-tip) on the part before applying the ABS slurry also helps to get a good bond. Not sure if this is helpful, but I wanted to share my experience with ABS repairs.
  17. Following. My 16S is a blast and no wobbles. I just got an 18XL and I'm getting wobbles too. Do wobbles get progressively worse until you crash? I get freaked out as soon as it starts and I immediately decelerate. Is it safe to push through the wobble?
  18. I'm on a KS16s, so I don't know if I can do trails. I have been to downtown OKC for a few urban rides on sidewalks and streets. Would you be interested in riding at some city parks or maybe downtown?
  19. Anyone in Oklahoma City metro area or Tulsa?
  20. Got my first wheel today and actually had success riding it a bit. After 5 minutes or so holding onto the fence, I took off down the sidewalk and to the mailbox. I couldn't believe it so I got my wife to video my 2nd attempt. I'm not saying I'm good, but I did ride the damn thing!
