  1. I wanted to inform everyone that I have official left my position at King Song as of end of September. I do not represent KS anymore. It's been a wild journey full of ups and downs, and I've learned a load in the past year or so that I've been here. I'll still be in this community just not as a KS rep, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message through the official channels such as email and FB.

  2. I can confirm this, it was a HS/C30 type. Begode just received his machine back for evaluation, of course there was the immediate deflection response of 'it's just this one machine, here's a video showing 68MPH under no-load'... We told our shipping agent to hold sending 2x HSs out until BG have a satisfactory explanation. Marty has received a HT/C38, with caution about the earlier cut-out event on the HS.

  3. Thanks for the info @Jason McNeil, I hope Kuji is okay. It sounds like @ThaBlackCobra 's Monster Pro's inexplicable "just this one" machine failure with no identifiable root cause yet with devastating consequences. This is the pattern, because although failure leading to a crash is not a Gotway/Begode/ExtremeBull exclusive, it seems that on other brands the cause of failure is identifiable. Either because some component burned or because there's a black box recording telemetry, allowing to identifying error in the software (Inmotion). Since this OEM has a history of inexplicab

  4. The LiTech packs appear clearly superior to what Begode/Gotway have been using. (See the details including pictures in my recent news roundup: https://forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/17309-up-to-date-euc-comparison-table/?do=findComment&comment=389532 ) And more importantly, it appears they're being manufactured entirely by LiTech and shipped directly to Begode for installation into the wheels at the time of manufacture, so eWheels is not doing any manufacturing or modifications to anything themselves. Essentially eWheels just helped Begode get a new/different supplier of superior packs f

  5. September/October Update Another huge update to rival the last one as the past 6-8 weeks have seen a flurry of activity. eWheels has officially launched its unique line of Begode wheels featuring eWheels-sourced battery packs, starting with the T3/Tesla V3, EX.N (HS & HT), Hero, and Commander (HS & HT). This marks the first new Begode wheels added by eWheels in a year(!) (since the RS in Oct of 2020). The eWheels-sourced packs are assembled by LiTech Power and feature the following improvements/capabilities: Imported Korean Samsung 50E cells (Versus the Begode packs w

  6. AVAS pack is basically a ZIP file, so you can do following: Download AVAS pack to a desktop computer from https://euc.world/library Change its extension from .avaspack to .zip Unzip content to some folder Change WAV files according to your needs, keeping their names intact Create new ZIP archive and change its extension drom .zip to .avaspack Save it to your mobile device, then open AVAS pack with EUC World (using file browser) Don't forget to keep WAV format unchanged (codec, sampling frequency etc.). Not all WAVs will work equally well with AVAS.

  7. Been loving my NikolAR a lot since I bought it just because it does most of everything that I want in a wheel while being quite affordable. I’m in that 240 pound riding weight area. Been able to ride comfortably in long 60 mile rides without compromising my usual average speed, take it on separate 20-30 mile rides without having to charge in between, go on speedy group rides of around 30 mph average (and kind of keep pace with the speedsters), and even some mild off roading. The wheel has surprising torque to get me up fairly steep inclines, and aside from unusually hot days, runs pretty cool

  8. I believe the arrangement of the batteries in the early Nikolas wasn't perfectly balanced and that might of led to some speed wobbles. In the 21700 battery Nikolas the batteries are perfectly balanced on both sides and the weight is fairly low down which also helps with stability. On the AR they've filled the space at the top of the wheel with extra batteries so it's a little more top heavy than the standard 100V Nikola. All Nikolas are waterproof. The large foot plates make the wheel fairly comfortable and the wide tyre adds a little "suspension" though the wheel is quite wide but you get use

  9. I've got a headache - but I finally got my head around it when I decided the bell boy was actually quite honest and went back to the man behind the desk and admitted he couldn't divide the $5 between 3 people and gave the $2 back meaning the total in the hotel's kitty was $27, exactly what the men had paid. The hotel then discounted the $2 from their breakfast bill the following morning. All is good in the universe.

  12. Don’t you just hate fallacies that your mind won’t let go of, Changing negatives to positive or thinking that you have three options when you only have two. My calculus teacher would always preach that math is not perfect. Sometimes math screws up. I strongly disagreed. I would tell her that she is feeding the problems into the system wrong or that the system was not programmed properly. It certainly can get confusing and the best of men can’t solve every problem or spot every fallacy but math is perfect. This is the problem she gave me……….. No offense to anyone but it is very embarrassi

  13. If one breaks down the algorithm (here a bash example) one sees that - if one stays at the choosen door, the chance to win is 1/3 - Exactly when "$door_picked" is "$car_postion" - If one changes his picked door, after monty showed another door Here the "winning condition" ( one picks a door, monty shows another door without the car and one changes to the third possible door) reduces to "$car_position" not equal "$door_picked". So chances are 2/3. So after writing the program/"designing" the algorithm, one does not need to let it run anymore... I assume t

  14. I wrote a small Javascript program for my simulation. I've been studying JS over the lockdown we're currently enduring so this was a nice little practical exercise. Probably not the most elegant code but I believe the logic is sound. function randomDoor() { const rndDoor = Math.floor(Math.random() * 3) + 1; return rndDoor; } function findRevealDoor(prizeDoor, contestantDoor) { let validReveal = false; while (!validReveal) { let revealDoor = randomDoor(); if (revealDoor !== prizeDoor &

  15. So you have a 50/50 chance . . . which is why the 66% is so annoying - I feel like it should be 50% chance of either door - the original choice or the swap out door.

Eri renkailla on iso ero juuri tuossa asfaltti-hiekka-siirtymässä. Ja niissäkin isompi nakki on paljon välinpitäm

  18. My buddy rides an AR+ nik. He doesnt seem to have any wobble issues above skill induced. Its a very capable wheel and almost keeps up with an idiot on a sherman. I also think it looks pretty tough and a very elegant design. I can't say that the AR upgrade was done in top notch fashion, but it seems to work. He also waterproofed it and it seemed to handle that just fine. I rode it like a jackass and it felt good. A little chunky but not too much. If it had any inherent problems with handling, I would have eaten sh*t in short order, as I dont tend to err on the side of caution. His have a set of

  20. It works for me every time, and uploads tours when I get back to WiFi. It seems to get the maps from Wifi without issue. Haven't had an issue with it at all, it's been a great no-muss no-fuss way to have EUCWorld along for the ride. I use it for both of my wheels, KS and GW and was very helpful when I overleaned my MTen... taught me where the "be very, very afraid" limit is on the little wheel!

  21. @Paul A Yes, your first two statements are correct. It accounts for the money. The third, while it is not wrong holds the fallacy and the reason that people fall for the trick. Hint the third is really a restatement of the first. If you correctly add 27 and 2 together you get _____ not 29

  23. Nice. Mr Elwood was also planning on running his own simulation as well. Be interesting to see what results he gets. Application of brute force simulations. Effective. The second video from time mark 2.45 shows an elegant approach that is easier, and doesn't require calculations. ________________ Problems can sometimes be solved without brute force. The following can be solved without requiring pen and paper, without a calculator, without calculations. A Grand Slam tennis tournament is a knockout competition. Starting with 128 players in

  26. Rocky, yes, the reasoning is correct. Contestant has picked one door, has 1/3 chance of winning the car. Think of this as (Group 1) Therefore, the other two doors have 2/3 chance of winning the car. Think of this as (Group 2) The host Monty Hall has just revealed that one of those doors in (Group 2) is not the winning door. Therefore that last remaining door in (Group 2) has the 2/3 chance of winning the car. This is the "2/3 probability concentrated" into that door. Change your pick and take it. __________________________________

  28. It looks very sexy to me... I am curious how this thing will do in tests. I am actually even more curious to see reviews for Abrams than for S20 (which is targeting a lot of cool features in one case and will be good in some and less in others). If Abrams is (even) smoother, faster and torquier than Sherman... I wonder, might it be that LeaperKim made the EX/N/Monster/Pro killer?...

  29. I have 2nd this. The stance of the Nik AR and 18XL feel very similar with the pedals somewhat close together which puts the legs closer to the wheel body. And the body height is similar (meaning both a bit tall) so they both hit the legs at about the same height, with the Nik just a bit wider at the top. That makes for easier controlled mounting, but as @mrelwood would agree, less maneuverability than a 16X or V11. But different wheels ... different purposes. For me, it is fine and sometimes preferable to control the wheel by easily nudging the body while just cruising around. But for technic

  30. @Jack ex-KS I also want to thank you for your contributions, and wish you the best in your next adventure. I know that your work on the S20 will have made it a much better product and (as a preorder customer) do hope you'll be very very proud of the result. BUT. Wait until you have some riding time on it before you run it up burn-out hill. I'm eager to hear/see how it performs before you let the magic smoke get out. It's not a 16X, so you never know.

  31. Yes, they walk you thru the sizing. They stock a lot of common sizes, but can change to suit. It did take a LONG time and I'm not sure how suitable it would be for skiing. For maximum effectiveness, suits need to fit pretty snug. I HATE snug clothing, but it has to be that way for pads to stay in place during impact and slides. Because it fits closely, it would be difficult to layer up, unless you intended them size it for that specific purpose. The fabric is VERY durable but also not very compliant (its goretex also). I hear they break in over time, but man thats a long time. You also have to

  32. It depends on whether a tire is too tall or wide, or whichever combination of the two hits first. But for me the tightest spot on the MSX was always the curved edge of the shell’s tire opening. It starts to curve in pretty early, so just making the edge straight for a half an inch further (and smoothing out the rest to fit) was all it took to fit the C-186 without any risk of touching the shell. If the tire is not centered/aligned very well, it can also drag on the inside of the wheel well, since the shell does flex when riding on one leg during mounting.

  35. I started to wright down the math and it got real simple. I got it! You keep thinking that you have three choices, You only have two. stick or change. If you stick you have a 33% chance. ......... That is it, By swamping you get the remaining 66% They removed the other pitfall. your remaining chance is 66% You only really have two choices. The actual doors do not play a part in the odds. just stick or swap.

  36. I am definitely NOT more qualified than you in ANY form. With 400 miles on the wheel, I definitely think your opinion holds more weight(so does your frame it appears). I am merely citing what i noticed in a mile of riding. My buddy has been riding his as primary vehicle for a while. I am parotting his experiences for the most part. Im not a gotway fan so much, but the proof is in the pudding. For me, it was a lot closer in feel to the sherman than it is to my 18XL. For as wide a wheel as it is, its not uncomfortable. ALl in all, I think its a great option and it has its own useable flavor. I d

  37. The covers had nothing on them. My RS had a serial number stamped on the cover along with the type" C30". The spokes look stronger than the previous production models. It wouldn't surprise me that it's a C30 motor. If Begode is in fact has gone this route it would be desirable to offer a C38 torque version.

Emolevy olikin ilmeisen vaurioton, sillä olen ajanut jo 500km ongelmitta.
