  1. I am addicted to a level not do not understand. It comes down to me riding to keep symptoms of my rheumatic diagnoses at bay. What makes this particular bad right now is that my liver is reacting bad to my medications. So yesterday I were told by my doctor to take a 2 months break with 1 of 2 drugs I take. The more still I sit the more locked up my joints get and risk of pains to follow. Working from home and I can only walk on level grounds make me walk somewhere between 12.000 to 18.000 steps in my apartment (2 rooms of 60m2 in total) during my 8 hour work shift. I must ride at l

  4. Hi! I struggle to make every new EUC World update to come with really useful features. EUC World 2.6 will be no different. I finally decided to improve support for Ninebot wheels by rewriting this part of the app from scratch. Ninebot owners will be happy that EUC World will finally support wheel settings. New Ninebot support will also include full support for their BMSes, so checking battery condition won't be a problem. EUC World 2.6 will of course include other features, like personal heatmap displayed on the tour map, weather radar overlay and improvements for Gotway/Begode/Veteran po

  6. So typical, a selfish response because you cannot get it your way. The response simply was to make you aware that it is unlikely for the app to be available to ios and presented you with the best solution. Hope you have a great day.

  7. @Unventor my friend, I too am unsure if I did the right move. Worst case scenario I'll sell the S18 if I don't like it and go back to the V11. I need suspension, that is 100% clear in my head. Now that I'm only with the 16X again, after a 30km ride I really need to stretch for 15 minutes, just to be sure I don't get an injury. And I do agree the that the V11 is as smooth as butter. However I'm only 1,76mt tall, I weigh, fully equipped 96kg and I'm 61. Getting on those skyscraper pedals is hell every time. The 18cm pedals od the 16x (that in the beginning were terrifying to me) feel now like a

  10. @Unventor sorry to hear your wheel is down. I seem to only ride my favorite too. I'll still rode the others but I always miss the favorite one. I sometimes think about selling the others, but I'm addicted enough to know that any wheel is the best wheel when there are no other options. if my 3 "real" wheel went down at the same time I know I'd still play with the 134wh freeman. You can over lean on it by sneezing too hard but somehow it still beats not riding

If they are taking up the whole path, I’ll either stop, or go off road. And take the time to talk if they are interested. Best,

  13. So a little update. Some might have seen part of this elsewhere but let's get started. Sad news from Inmotion today as Liam have decided to do new things outside Inmotion. He is one of a handful of people I have been in close contact since V11 and V12 was supposed to be released in January 2020. Now that didn't happen. But is was a start of tons of feedback and suggestions I had collected from this forum and a few other places. My opinions and also others, and even some opinions I do not agree upon. It is hard to say what future brings. But the V12 has not really caught my interest

As someone who loves unique gadgets, I was super interested, but put off by the price point: it's around $1900 USD after tax. It's almost impossible to find proper reviews of this thing, it's almost like... no one has bought one? Lately I've been in need of a new helmet, and after finding a storefront that would allow me to return it if I wasn't happy with it, I decided, what the hell, I'll take the plunge. O

Specifically: People don't actually swap them very frequently because batteries of that size are expensive so most people don't even own more than one The extra parts needed to make them swappable add weight, volume, and parts that can fail

  19. What feature are you missing from EUCworld? Of course it's not the same but all the basic functions are there and then some. Integrations are really good and the app is getting better all the time. Personally I would like to have the telemetry data from EUCworld as DB does not have that feature as well made. Otherwise everything seems to be covered. If there's something particular you miss, it might be better to make a feature request to the DB team at their telegram channel.

  20. I've never had a wobble-crash. I've had a bit of wobbling in hard braking situations, and a bit while learning to do hard accelerations on the EX but nothing too scary. I ride with a very uneven stance, one foot quite a bit forward of the other, so the right foot is for acceleration, the left for braking. Also a very wide stance where one leg is only lightly contacting the wheel and the other is disengaged entirely from the side of the wheel. On the few occasions where I've tried to ride with a narrow stance -- both legs pressed against the side of the wheel -- that has felt very wobble p

  21. I have a different policy. Since I pass many people on my rides, I made it a point from day #1 to say hello to everyone. The result: now and when I ride, more than half the people of all ages, say hello to me before I do... really funny how human behavior can be influenced with a simple hello. Not one person has picked on me. And many when they see me simply walking, they ask: "Aren't you riding today?". Really great to see there reactions. @scubadragosan, btw...I'm a 61 year old EUC rider. It's not about age, it's about inner happiness. Ride well my friend

Balancing work, familie life, euc interest and riding, a daily life and the programming and to a large extent supporting users of an app that is free with options for donations that he use to buy test gear that he needs. You can find Android phone for 100-150$ to run the app, some are even cheaper. If you search this forum you would have found what I listed here. Now @Seba have not said definite no to maybe

Got a good feel on how my shoe will feel in the pad and seeing as there is plenty of up/down space for the screw slots in order to adjust the height of the pads if adjustments are needed, as well as many different slots for left right adjustability. Strongly considering the purchase and looking forward to how your rides are using the pads.

  28. So if we continue down this line. So typical people not reading the manual or in this case the post made to them. Please read my post again. It is not a corporate development but a person spending his free spare time. It is not his means of lifesupport, EUC.WORLD. Don't blame the messenger of the fact of situation. The is an IOS alternative which I told you about. Yes it is not the same but basic functions cover same functionality. Making apps on a totally new platform that you didn't plan for or worked on is not a simple task.

  30. That's also what I do. Actually, I have a rear view mirror on the left side of my helmet, and I also signal to all the cars coming up behind me to overtake me and many drivers have back thanking me. You see, technically in Portugal, like in many European countries, these EUC's are illegal due to a legal "hole" in the law. So, to avoid problems I stick to the road and only climb on the occasional sidewalk when I know that no one's there.

It's real fun to speed up on the roundabout and speed even more up that short and steep dead end. and then turn 180º and come down slowly relaxing my legs. But today I was going really fast and when I curved to go up fast the KS16X wobbled quite a bit (and I was holding tight and strong) I immediately decelerated while curving upward and got control of the wheel. Curious about it (and worried) I we

I tried ignoring...that didn't work either. Verbal fights worked well, but it took several times. Case in time: Everyday I use my KS18S to commute back and forth work. On my way home, I encountered this 60 years old guy. He would tell me to get off the sidewalk. In the beginning, I just ignored him. Then he got aggressive by stretching his arm out attempting to block my way. So finally I stopped, trying to reason with him. He

But I will share how it looks like while parked. And mounted. I am not sure if they are in right position yet. But with a shoe it looks like this. And I got a new helmet to fit too that I been traceing the buy button for a year now. So last Thursday it happened. It is 1250g +/- 50g.

Agree with most of your post, except I don't think it's fair to equivocate between Gotway and Veteran 😁 The Sherman is a more refined product that shows that its designers have put a lot more thought into its conception than any Gotway: * Cooling: The waterproof air flow chamber underneath the controller, linked by the heatsink * Alarm: The beeper is attached on top of the case, pointing up so it's easier to be heard by the rider (duh GW!) * Power: 10 parallel lines of power must have seem like such a waste to Gotway people when they first heard about it, but it's what gives the She

Now the episodes in Winter but I can still function. Just feel it coming and going if I sit too long on certain chairs. Using a tightening warming belt also help me lots. Amazingly, I can ride the wheel and I feel nothing. I can squat and touch the pavement while riding! I can ride for 2 hours often and not have issues. But then if I pick the wheel up and extend, I can feel it still can trigger. Weird.
