  2. Get better soon. I had a minor crash when I was still so new that I was just barely able to free mount and keep myself upright on the wheel. My own fault entirely but I still rolled and sprained my ankle so badly that it took nine months to heal fully. Kept me off the wheel for more than three years until I had gained back enough courage to get back on. Just rolled over the 1,000km mark on my V10F two days ago!

  3. Why all the secrecy? Why do people need to PM you? You are of course well within your rights to keep things off the general forum, but I dont understand why you would do that, especially after posting in the general forum that you know the answers. Its a genuine question, I am struggling to understand your motive.

  4. Nope but as I sold my car I needed to be able to ride in any weather. I looked at the benafits to me using the mc suit and decided it is worth it to me. It is fairly fast and easy to put on my gear. And once in the mc suit I have all protection zones on beside helmet and wrist guards. I ride these days without wrist guards when wearing gloves. In summer time I mostly have a smal set of wrist guard on. But the real benafit of the klim suit is the goretex properties and how ventilation is made. So even in rain I don't get wet on the inside. Onlt when it gets really hot here I u

  5. I picked up the Klim F5 Ghost on sale last summer for <$300. Its carbon fibre, weights a hair >1kg, great fit & super ventilated/cooling for summer. Surprisingly (or not), it's actually categorized as a snowmobile helmet although if one looks deeper, there's really no difference. In the deep freeze, one would sweat lots when even riding their sleds semi aggressively & venting is huge for comfort. The helmet do come with a windstopper liner for more heat retention on lazy rides. I pair my F5 with a similar branded Klim snowmobile Oculus goggles. Again there's really no differ

  6. I can add to my old post. I keep using my TSG Pass helmet despite it is cold. I found with visor a bit open of full open I prefer this over my MC helmet. I use a baklava (ski/"rubbers" mask) to keep warn. Today I just picked up 2 new baklava. One made of microfibers other of cutton. I have written to TSG I would like them to move from the dual D lock to a fidlock (magnetic system) and they make a visor that has pinlock. But never got any reply. But there are 3 things that makes the TSG Pass my preferred helmet. AerodynamicS Field of vison Light weight.

  8. Just put this tire on my 16x. Here is the link if you’re interested. It just barely fits. This tire is about 3 times as heavy and much thicker than the stock tire. 9. No worry, I don't get you wrong I just think that each opinion matters and maybe there is something I missed but could be useful for other users. I love to get positive feedback (who doesn't? ), but I especially value input that shows me areas I could improve something. I know that by looking at the tour map in EUC World application , tour recording seems to be simple - just a small map of most recent tour and set of buttons to operate it. But all the power is on the EUC World website part. Better map, detailed EUC data chart, photos, ride stats etc. Soon a social features will come. Of

  10. These are two, or more, different problems! 1 the "tock" sound 2 Bearings rust problem (the design weakness of the hollow / bearing system) What I can say about the "tock" is that the problem comes and goes ... it has been absent for a few days but today, putting the slime on the tire and turning the wheel with my hands, I felt it again albeit very weak! I got on the wheel and did 10 km without feeling anything. So for sure I think it's bearing-related (misalignment?) But water and dirt retention issues are another issue that somehow Ray tried to fix in his videos. (sorry

  12. Police look at white people waving US flags as patriotic defenders. Black people protesting or even congregating in groups are looked upon as seditious. BLM protesters don't generally wear US flags, although, ironically, protesters waving US flags are seditious... My view is that a majority of Trump supporters have rejected multicultural government, while BLM supporters want to be treated equally (legally and financially). And it's the rejection of multiculturalism that allows these seditious protesters to reject the voting results; if you think that certain people don't deserve to vote,

  14. Well, I went looking for euc shirts and it was slim pickins'. Im a cheap t-shirt kinda guy and decided... why not try and make my own damn shirts?! So with no graphic knowledge, no shirt making skill, I grabbed some tools and made myself a few vinyl stickers. That was yesterday. Today, I have moved up to worn out t-shirts... I settled on a logo Im going to keep and tossed a guy on an euc with a skull head. I have now officially done what I planned on... getting an euc t-shirt. For a first shirt, its wearable. I think perhaps the guy shoulda been outlined as well? Next up, more designs, a stack

  16. I completely disagree. In my experience, this wheel is the most robust, weel engineered wheel i ever dismantled. The shell is rock solid, the inserts and screws are top notch quality compared to anything else before, the trolley is just perfectly placed, the front light is very powerful and its height can be adjusted dynamically, the lcd is a gamechanger. About the rim, i must have been lucky because mine is perfectly centered, but it seems to happen sometimes. About the torque,it's the only wheel i got (9 eucs) where I have still not been able to make it beep in acceleration, it's tr

  17. This is just a short clip. It show how EUC.WORLD has video overlay updated (1 of the modes) with model listed. This is under beta testing for new public release. It is also showing my V11 with winter tire. I have ride where roads are not clear if snow and mix of snow and ice. I am still struggling with being comfortable with how I have go turn due to the grip of the tire and how high I stand vs risk of sideways slide out on ice patches. So far so good. But it is contradicting my previous winter ride experience to always stay over the wheel and only use shoulder test

  18. I don't ride mc. But you are spot on about my line of thinking that it will outlast more wheels. So it was a long team investment for me. And there is so many details in this mc suit that fits my needs that once I decided cost wasn't an issue it was very easy choice to hit buy. At the time it was 10% discounted too.

  20. Still cheaper than 1 night in a hospital and I'd venture that his Klim suit will outlast 10 v11's. At least thats how Im fooling myself into justifying a $1500 MC suit. Of course, I ride bikes (as does Unventor) and its just a mere drop in the bucket.

  21. My decision to go ahead and buy this wheel was made knowing Full Well what I was getting into and what I would need to do to put things right! Granted, we should not have to go to these extremes to make a Brand New wheel fit for purpose or open up a New wheel at all, but that also seems to be the case with several of 2020's New offerings unfortunately! I had followed All the online media, reviews, videos etc. so was right up to speed with All the issues, while I awaited my pre-order S18 to finally arrive in New Zealand. Now once it reached theses shores, given the widespread concern ov

  25. Kohtuu normisti ajellaan.

From my previous post, it is the group of people who believe in the lies and propaganda Trump has been touting who will be impossible to communicate with. As a final comment on this thread, this isn't about red or blue for someone like me who is outside the country, it is about a toxic leader who has actively manipulated his base for over 4 years. 30. My latest video: The "Day 12" refers to days of actual riding (not days since receiving the wheel). I'm still not 100% confident riding an EUC because of the very limited amount of time I've spent riding, but every day that I get out and ride helps add some experience & familiarity of riding one of these cool PEVs.

  31. Most definitely! There should be a video on my KS 18 mod page. Not with a wire brush just as long as you’re careful to only apply enough pressure to remove the paint. No idea. I would love to spend a day with their engineers to gain a better understanding on their thought processes behind many of the assembled components.

  32. @StealthPhoenix of I had not had the support of eWheels I'm sure I would have found the cause of the knocking as well. I know it wasn't bearings on my original wheel, something in the motor touching as it rotated was the most likely cause. When the bearings grind and sound horrible....those are bad bearings, but a knocking sound that is dependent on rpm is most certainly not bearings. My knock even smoothed out the faster you went being pretty much gone over 30mph (you could feel it in the pedals and that feeling lessened the fast you went). The more centrifugal force the less the issue.

  33. 1) True, but lifting shell removes the issue with the cage hitting the kerb or rock at the front of the cage. If done in conjunction with lifted pedal hangers also the bars below pedals gets more clearance. This would we be the "right way forward" unless they modify the shell and raise the hangers. 2) Higher profilw tyre is very hard to find as this is allready quite high. Plus its bicycle tires basically, so would become very wide as well. 3) Hangers are what are modded on Veteran from what i understand 4) it IS way to low, at least if you like offroad (and with that lovely kno

  34. this is the main thing. i have my way of achieving this, but there are other ways i found and so the goal is just this, with regard to that knocking sound, im cut and pasting from the PM. im going to sleep man, sorry for the drama: but in the end, just remember that the sound is coming from a misaligned motor (magnet and coils should not be touching), and if you put the cover on and hear the noise, you must remove it and reinstall it again (very gently by installing the screws BEFORE the cover is even fully seated...so you can use the screws to gently close the lid, while making s

FWIW to my eyes, the 'stich suit looks better than the Klim 😉 Hmmm honestly I have not used the F5 in sub zero weather as I found it too cooling. 36. Has anyone here tried a Snowmobile helmet? They are designed for cold weather and many are DOT certified. A lot of them appear to be much lighter weight (around 1000g). Apparently this is because people riding a snowmobile need the ability to look around more just like us. I was looking at this one that is designed to be paired with matching goggles https://ride509.com/products/tactical-helmet-2021. There are plenty of helmets that are full face though like the downhill helmets. I love the look of the TSG Pass, but that price point is rough.

There doesn't seem to be much or any 5V tail lights available, anyone know of any? Else I consider making something with this, two 2.5V in series should make 5V. Any reason not to?

  43. One thing most of you guys have not mentioned, which is probably the most important factor regarding video quality is called "generation loss". Each time you export (encode) a video with a "lossy" codec you are changing data and losing quality, almost no matter the bitrate. For this reason its important to take your source video apply all the edits in and encode only one time. That said, if you exported those two 30 minute clips with the same parameters, you should be able to losslessly join them also called "concatenate" using a software other than openshot. This avoids encoding a secon

The only thing to be aware of is that its more curved, so at low speeds, its possible to spin around when doing a quick turn, should the tire ride over some gravel. I used it for about 1 week before i put it away for the season, but here is the info you might be interested in. x More stable than stock tire x More dampening than stock tire, the texture of the road is more or less gone x Rides more upright than stock tire, easier to ride on tilted sidewalks x with stiffer sidewalls, it can handle lower pressures without the downside of feeling lo

If you wear a balaclava with wind stopper (GORE WINDSTOPPER) then it will stop the wind chill period and keep you warm with the visor down. Helmets are never insulated, they’re designed to flow air, especially ones with visors. No air flow = fogged up visor. Worry about what you’re wearing UNDER the helmet, not the helmet itself. I have the TSG PASS and wear it with a Klim Balaclava with GORE windstopper underneath and have easily been in 10 degrees Fahrenheit weather riding at 50mp
