  1. The other day I suffered an inconsequent Overlean. There was a step apron 25/30cm height not absolutely step (90º) but quite . I was approaching it slow and result is I overleaned but was capable or running it (as speed was very slow) Anyway it is interesting to analyze the wheel magnitudes : Pitch begins to increase and current and power jump. As there is no way to maintain it and I jump out current and pose go down and as the wheel falls speed goes up till the controller stops it. If you look at the values of the Excel file Pitch continues to increase after maximum curren

Here's your chance to post your ugly mug and sweet ride. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I Left the house without a full charge, so didn't ride all the way down to the river today - the last bit is very steep. Got back just as the battery warning light began flashing. KS-14C 680/800

Meine Rippenprellung/Bruch:

  6. it wont damage your circuit board, but will damage you. as soon as you accelerate a bit stronger or you go uphill the fuse will blow, your wheel will shut down, and your face will land on the road. this fuse is too small for an euc! your friend is probably not aware of this danger. edit: the least you should do is place one fuse per battery pack. 20a should be ok in such case, but i'd actually even then go higher.

  7. ??? the Beeps have nothing to do with The fuse mentioned...if your friend installed a 20 amp fuse between mainboard and batterie pack, you will probably faceplant just when you Need your Board to draw more than 20 amps!! so please ask where exactly The fuse has been Set by your friend...Could be a Realy!! 9. @Shady Tools: not sure, whether that's such a great idea. Is that 20 amp fuse between the mainboard and all of the parallel battery packs? In other words: will the fuse blow as soon as your wheel consumes more than 20 A? In that case you may risk the same effect as with one of those dangerous standard BMS boards! Just when you need that extra bit of power to get over a bump in the road, the fuse blows and your wheel sends you flying. As far as I know, the Msuper can easily draw a peak power of 3000 Watt. At a battery level of 60V that means 50A current. With a 20A fuse in between, you won

  11. Credit: @9bots a million thanks for the battery chafing discovery! I can see the same effect though my battery still works. Battery problem: the battery cover chafes the battery. Image 1 shows the same damage described by 9bots, and image 2 shows that in addition my battery pack shows wear in all the places where it has touched the ridges in the casing. Image 3 shows my solution: I glued strips of an old mouse pad on top of all the ridges. And taped the worn places on the battery pack. Sealing problem: dust/water enters battery and motherboard compartments. While checking t

  15. I'm confused about what is happening here... A short circuited battery pack would not fry the board if the short happened before the board. Electricity will take the path of least resistance - the short. Why are you adding fuses and jumpers and extras? That jumper looks like a lot of extra metal to be floating around in there...

My KS 14C has just arrived in my location (tomorrow I hope to have hands on it ) thanks to the excellent service of http://www.futurewheels.nl/ If you like their offers, you can contact the forum member @Michael David de Gans

Contact @Jason McNeil on this website: I purchased from him last November, his UK website is: http://www.wheelgo.com/king-song-uk-exclusive/ Jason's service was great and, more to the point, when after a couple of weeks I had problems with the power switch, he quickly arranged for it to be replaced and was equally quick to arrange a trolley handle when I decided I wanted one. i know he is currently in the USA, his US website is:https://www.ewheels.com but I believe his UK operation is still functioning?

I found in Italy (I'm Italian) price like 750€ for the v5+ this is the best price for the inmotionv5+? And about the speed, is possible or not unlock to 25kmh? And what about the tilt back?! Is like the Airwheel x8? (In the Airwheel x8 the tilt back is very hard and horrible) andrea

  26. Sorry, I should have been more precise: the 10-20A max is per series of cells. 850Wh Gotway probably has 4 or 5 packs in parallel, so you could be looking at peaks of 40-50A (at 60V nominal voltage, that'd be 2400-3000W) or even above. If the 20A fuse is for all the packs in parallel, you could probably easily blow it, even if it's the slow kind (going 100%-150% above the rating).

  27. Do you have a measurement for the curvature of the ninebot frame or did you just print in Ninjaflex and bend it until it fit? I have been meaning to do this but haven't had the time. If you have the measurements I might be able to give a hand. I'm decent at solidworks...

  29. A slight deviation from earlier plans... I didn't have time to work on anything since tuesday-night, and just now got back on track. But then my desk light gave up, and it's hard to work on soldering etc. with not enough light. So get a new bulb? Yeah, I'll get to that some day, but in the meantime, I figured that I have power leds: 3W, with choices of either 2...2.5V / 700 mA or 9V / 300mA, the difference is that the 9V ones have actually three 1W leds in series, thus the difference in voltage / amps. Well, of course I don't have a spare 9V/12V AC/DC -transformer ("wall wart") right

  33. On my fourth time out on an EU, I really started pushing it to the limits. I was practicing in an empty parking lot and trying to go as fast as possible. What I didn't plan on was the speed bump that jumped into my path more quickly than I could react. (Okay, it wasn't the speed bump that was moving, it was only me.) So, entirely of my own accord I took a pretty serious fall. I was, however, wearing full protective gear. From the scratches on my helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads, it's pretty clear I fell pretty hard. The gear worked, mostly, and I broke no bones. I did get some

  34. It was the control board. Replaced the control board and the wheel is now working fine, now I will apply the varnish to the screw heads and let it dry, I will apply 2 coats, second coat after first coat dries. It appears that it was the MOSFETs since once the control board was removed the wheel no longer had a high resistance in turning. The strange thing is that the old control board shows no signs of burnt spots. Tina provided great service shipping the control board and fuses. The most difficult part in replacing the control board was removing the existing varnish from the screw

It will be nice for all the stores to start putting hearts and flowers out days before my anniversary. It didn't hurt that I told her it was because I wanted her to be my Valentine for the rest of my life either.

  38. What I like to show with this video is that certain EUs can handle a lot and others not. There may be some Nm missing between or the torque/ power curve is different. But this is the different. The normal Ninebot e/e+lacks power as it's not in the 800/ 1000W nominal power class. They're allowing to much speed for the power and may be the position of the pedals are a bit to high.

  39. Wow. I love how he is so aggressive with the wheel (both accelerating and braking) but it doesn't seem to have a problem at all. Now I'm starting to think that KS16 may be my next wheel. @Kwing Even when you have tilt-back it is possible to "over-lean" before the wheel can give you a tilt-back warning, especially if you are already traveling pretty fast. Keeping your knees bent is important in my experience when you're traveling quickly, it gives you a little more ability to lean back for balance if you get close to the limit of the wheel. No matter what, always wear some basic safety gea

After a couple of beers my legs are more relaxed and i can take / dampen the pavement irregularities much better. Also it gives me a feeling of confidence which some will think is a false confidence but i still believe it enhances my riding abilities and experience. Now, dont try this at home...

  41. AFAIK this is done to reduce torque ripple. If the number of poles matches (or is a multiple of) the number of coils the magnets line up and tend to 'stick' to the iron core of the coils all around the motor at the same time. More power is needed to 'unstick' them and pull them to the next position. If the number of poles doesn't match (or is a multiple of) the number of coils only a part of the magnets lines up with the iron core of the coils at any given time and it's easier to pull the next pair to line up with another pair of coils.
