V5F reset

I know on the V8 the rest button was removed on production units even though it is still labeled. Maybe the same on the V5F. Are you trying to reset to factory settings or is the firmware locked up requiring a mainboard power cycle?

was just wondering if it is 'good' to reset the software every once in a while in a similar way to spring-cleaning a phone/laptop by resetting/reinstalling os type thing.

Ok I'm bored ?

It's a good point. A few people have reported oscillation issues that were resolved by pulling the battery for a bit. I guess that would be the easiest way to guarantee a power cycle. I'm don't know if you'd need to discharge the capacitors too. I've no idea if they could supply power to the actual board.
