so i need some good tires that have very good grip both on road and offroad.

u replacced my tire once on my tesla with a 16 inch kenda tire from a ks16

but i got it from a freind used so it didnt have the best grip. i just think it slips too easily

and i would really like the tire to be as wide as possible while still being able to bee in the shell. just the same size as the normal tesla tire

Schwalbe Mad Mike 16"x 2.125(57-305). I am not sure it will fit Tesla, but I am very satisfied on my Ninebot One E+. But it is very noisy.

is it good on the road also?

and how much more noisy is it?

It is very good on mud and snow. But after finish the winter, I will change back to the stock tire.

So it is not good in summer...

I currently have a Kenda winter tire on. But it's also loud. Really good on mud/muddy grass/snow/slippery+soft stuff though.

Some impressions here:

Some more info (end of post).

There may be more info hidden somewhere in these pages:efee8319ab:

I don't think you will find a silent tire (as silent as the standard one) with equally good grip. Just take the noise. People will hear you coming, that's an advantage sometimes, too.

It's on my ACM to ACM2 conversion wheel. Can't wait to try it.

It works just like the standard tire on roads/pavement, without range loss. It's just loud. You can get used to it.

It really shines (I think) on soft+slippery surfaces, like mud, (wet) grass, snow/soft-ish ice, and so on - then the knobs can really dig in and give you grip.

@Shad0z I just posted a few here:

https://www.unicycle.com/innova-16-x-2-4-tire/ this looks good for offroad, but a lot of rolling resistance otherwise. They're wider than the stock Tesla tire but there looks to be around 2.8/2.9" gap in the Tesla shell, at least what I can see, so a 2.4" tire should be OK unless it gets weird inside.

https://mikesbikes.com/product/specialized-rhythm-lite-tire-281800-1.htm this might be what you're after:

When your ride varies from skate parks to city streets, and usually ends with a session at the trails, the Rhythm Lite is the obvious tire of choice. A fast-rolling center section keeps things moving, while slightly larger and deeper shoulder knobs provide enhanced traction in the dirt.

I just ordered one of these, the tread looks good for fast summer NYC street ridin'
