Scott Henley
How cool would it be to set aside one weekend a year for everyone to meet up in one location ?? Pick a city each year and we all descend upon it like an electric plague . Lol. @outcast00096 you’re “top 5 people you’d like to ride with” post got me thinking ..why not make our dreams a reality ! outcast00096
I agree with this. I was thinking the same. Onewheelers have floatfest. We should have something. https://www.floatlifefest.com/

It just looks really slow and kind of lame. I like skateboarding a lot and I think the form factor is super cool, but how boring in its execution. I think if they made it way faster maybe even with a bigger wheel and shorter tail/nose for better hill climbing with hooks you can scoot your feet under so you can jump over logs and shit while you're blasting through the woods smoking joints, now that'd be nice. Haha. They make the hooks . They are called “flight fins”. But yeah I’ve never ridden one but my overall impression is that they seem slow and have bad battery capacities. For trail riding on the weekends maybe it would be fun but with a 7mi range (the new xr version can go 15) it’s just not practical imho. Plus at 1100-1800ish dollars it’s crazy expensive for what it is .
The Fat Unicyclist
I've asked the question before about something like this - but the biggest challenge is, "How far would you be prepared to travel with your wheel?" Though now I would ask the question - how did the Onewheel crowd overcome the same problem? Because with a plan for getting the wheels there, it is just a matter of picking a place and time, with enough lead in for people to plan for it all... And for the record - I'm in for it! Marty Backe
What makes this so difficult is that we can't fly with our wheels. So most people would be limited by a few hundred mile radius, I suspect. We'll probably have better luck organizing regional meetups.

It’s my I understanding that there are no issues taking a wheel on a train. And we can always have our wheels shipped I suppose . And here’s a thought about the shipping process : As a cyclist I have 2 hard shell boxes that are are designed specifically for shipping or transporting your bike to events ..someone should create something similar for EUC . It would make shipping much safer for our precious wheels . And maybe we’d het less grief with airlines too .
