Mom of 3 Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 Purchased a hoverboard from hoverboarder.com for my son on Christmas. They recently were forced to go out of business (due to high volume of refund/return disputes) which is why we are stuck with a brand new defective board. If you used a credit card or pay pal or some other method that allows for compensation, under some form of deceptive trade act, file, but not because the company is bankrupt, but because the goods are faulty. There are a few other companies that went out of business as well that we could write about too, so if anyone here knows other companies that they have a complaint about, please let us know so we can add them to the list. Its really important that the public be informed when it comes to the safety of hoverboards.
