Mini pro having got a complete shower...

Recommended Posts

Well not exactly  but, yes I was at the beach again. Probably a little bit tooo close to the water. One could imagen, shorthly after I had christmas ligths on my mini :(

however, the motors in the wheels are not afected I pretty shure they are waterproof for shure. But the mainboard? Uhhh, there are really no but no visible damages.

But this damm battery. When taking the battery off there is a green ligth.. mine is now read and pluggin in for charging seems to make no difference I can see it does not load.

Anybody any idea? Mainboard even no visible damage gone for now or what?

I love this baby and never ever would abandon, sniff sniff...

Well I'm sure the board itself is ok, tiers to but the red light on the battery ... never seen, seems to bee the problem. I guess the battery went into a mode unknown to me.

Any idea?

dude, if you could just see what I'm doing at the beach using this unit you would make pipi, kkk

well I'll contact ninebot and we'll see. the battery seems to be 100% waterproof so I do not know how it could be damaged but yes, I'm not pro.

kkk, ok the battery is back! It just went empty as easy...

It took a long time to fully load again but seems to be just fine having again the green LED on.

And the rest? Hm, still a christmas tree though. It may take a few days getting this sack dry again and only then I would be able telling if or if not the mini survives. But I think nocking on wood, I was lucky.

My impression about the hardware?

Excellent engineering, excellent procuction. I personally think it is difficult being at the same level as NINEBOT.

Quality! just starting at the damm screws one has already aaa stuff in the hand.

This is not the first tech problem I went trough though.

I LOVE THIS BITCH!

:):):)

and tomorrow I gone buy one kilo of Silicon

Pipi, kkk = you'll make a pie? = pants will be wet (yours :), hahaha...

I'm not exebitionist at all l really do not make selfies.

I really know what I'm doing at the beach. I started with longboards...

first one with casoline motor, second with E-Motor then the first EUC so damm bad quality I relearned FLYING high :)

then the ninebot One+ and then also elite and mini.

when I go by often hearing:

oh, es mui rato...  OR

meu deus que legal...

the euc I handle really good but one may not believe I may prefere the mini today, hahaha....

pero si, es mui loco ...

sometimes is my answere to the argentin tourists and I'm gone.

no interviews, far to much afraid :)

Working again my beast, kkk...

yes, I've a normal mini not the pro version.

So I had to take the whole unit apart and drying everything carefully. The motherboard does not any popcorn (destroyed ic's). I noticed the motherboard on the backside (you have to take it off to see...) even has extra coating applied after mounting all the ic's (mostly surface mounted I guess). I estimate the volume of water entered and flushed the motherboard about 3-5 table spoon. Far enough ... yes just minutes after flooding the Mini he turned into a nervous, italian christmas tree.

Again I confirm having seen just AAA+ parts, material, design, engineering and production. Just amazing receiving such a quality product at this price! I do have other units (Hooverboard, Longboard e-motor, gasoline and a electric unicycle) in the same price range and compared to ninebot hardware they have NO change to compete.

Done to least forever! Even the motors I'm sure can't be fucked up and if (how?) cooper could be fixed by third party specialist.

Taking of the battery one can identify a few spots in order to improve water resistance. I don't think there is a way to make it 100% water proof. At least not for me. Even not needed. Having additional security handling the one or two spots when removing the battery is enough for me.

And yes. I'll go again to the beach. In fact I use them only at the beach. Street or sidewalk in brazil are too risky even dangerous as these kind of units are to new to all the other members...

At the beach I find AAA+ conditions especially at low tide. The sand forms a perfect solid street. Think about Snowboarding at the beach, centimeter along the sea, extremely exiting.

Early in the morning 06:00 to 08:00 or late in the night often I'm at the beach: DANCING ON THE MINI OR EVEN ONE E+

Listening to my favorite music, dancing with two wheel or unicycle I go every time into a state of near crazyness. YEAH

Enjoy your beast it is something in 100 years people will tell: These units have been the start ... (of something even more amazing, giving an important drill to humanity)

Cheers&enjoy

:)

I agree with that (i totally dismantled mine miniPro  when i broke main frame and tear mini apart to replace it with new frame) build  quality and engineering is superb.

I agree; for the price the MiniPro at least is a terrific deal in terms of build quality.  If I happened to get one of the more recent electronic protection products I will coat the controller board, even though I don't use it at the beach.  I love the idea though if I happened to be there when there was a hard layer.

Had my first introduction to sand as I attempted to go over it otherwise MiniPro.

Tossed to the ground with a Mini Wallop.

No more intros like that.

Hahaha, you may want to be at the more perfect beach...

the sand on the foto shows clearly very hard sand, so no no no problem at all. I'm used to people not understanding

;)

I didn't know how the MiniPro would behave with just, it seemed, a little bit of sand on the sidewalk.  I paid the learner price by taking a fall and hit my helmeted head with only embarrassment as the penalty.

So, hard sand or soft sand, not for me, yet.
