Can you do a short video review of the V8 if you have time?  I think people really liked the V5F+ "Parking Garage" demo which you did.  I know there's that's "professional" review that one guy did which you sponsored, but I think people trust your first hand commentary as you're a trusted member of the community.  The V8 just kind of trickled out, and we've been seeing others post up videos.  I think what's missing is your personal take on the V8 versus the V5F+.

You got it! It's not an excuse, but I've been a bit bogged down with some other stuff. Sorry for being offline for so long :)

My bad, that video was on the V5F+...

Here's the Garage first glimpse of the V5F+ if anyone missed it... when I first saw it I thought geez that's a nice looking wheel, and it really took off I think in sales after that.  For a simple 3 minute video it really made an impression I think!  Maybe it was the trailing arm movements that made it look super fast!  You see kids doing that when they run really quickly...  ;)

Does this 2.5A 84volt fast-charger have to option to also charge to only 80% of the rated voltage of the batteries to help increase the lifespan of the batteries?

That's unlikely in my opinion. If you're not already aware of it, you might find Charge Doctor helpful.

" The CD’s usefullness is not only in allowing fast charging, it is mostly in the autocut function to automatically stop charging at 80% or 90% to preserve the the battery and considerably extend its mileage."

Does it just connect in series with the regular charger without having to open up the V8 ?

(thanks for the info)
