Cyrus
I'm trying to access http://www.iamips.com/ to no avail. Does the company still exist? Is/was it possible to order EUCs from this site?

Cyrus
Thanks for the reply, What is the difference between the two sites? Are both official? I read somewhere that the latter is a reseller with bad reputation. Has anyone succeeding in ordering from them and received their wheel? How are warranty errands taken care of when purchasing products from China? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really excited about EUCs since I got to borrow one last week.

esaj
https://www.ipselectricunicycle.com/ is not the original company site, but a reseller. If I remember correctly, there was at least one salesman there that got some bad rep due to the way he behaved with the customers when it came to problems... The original iamips-site won't open for me either, but they published a "temporary" link to the English-site, which still seems to work: http://php.heyou51.cn/98/bdw_en/ This is supposedly a secondary URL to the real company web-site, but I'm not 100% sure. Dear Esaj, l did agreed with you some bad experience with our website, but we sold more than 1000PCS unicycle and 80% was end users,we can't guarantee all customer satisfied with our service,so that's the room we need to move forward. but l don't think all customer satisfied with all they bought from international shopping, that's the fact we need to face it. e.g gotway known as great performance, but all customer satisfied with it ?absolutely NOT,believe it or not ! NO offend to any brand but Example. Best Regards Chang Yuming Edited March 6, 2017 by Chang Yuming
mrelwood
I bought my Lhotz from ipselectricunicycle.com. I knew they are just a reseller, but they gave me the best offer. Shipping was fast, contact was fast and friendly, and I got and have later gotten all the information I wanted. IPS not having a website for months does make me concerned though. They really should be aware how much this hurts their sales.

Anyway to find out if they are still in business and if they have an official website I can place an order. I am looking at ordering an EUC to India. I would really appreciate your help especially since you have had experience in ordering from them. Thanks!
mrelwood
I really don’t know. They haven’t made wheels for years that I’d consider viable, so I would definitely look at other manufacturers.

mrelwood
None of the dedicated manufacturers make a wheel in that price range, so if you’re buying new, you are buying a very old model that is dangerous and underpowered. You might want to check the possibility of buying a used wheel locally. But make sure the battery is fine and charges to 100%. From new wheels I guess the Gotway Mten3 would be closest to your price range, but it’s a specialized wheel and lacks some features that are crucial to most riders.
